James2 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 My rendition of the 34 Ford 5 window coupe. Drag City Castings chopped body, Base kit by AMT with a few Revell components mixed in. The engine is Pontiac from the Blue Printers Series, Splash Paints Seamist Green, custom mix Tamyia gold, semi and flat black colors. I added my own fuel and brake lines, made a set of taillights, scratch made the headers and exhaust from evergreen styrene. The interior is somewhat detailed but hard to see through the diminished windows. Thanks for looking.... The Build- 17 1
Can-Con Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Looks fantastic. I really didn't think the color combo would work but you really brought it all together when finished. 👍👍👍 1
Phildaupho Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Great looking 34. I really like the colour and wheel/tire combo. 1
espo Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Beautiful paint finish and like the color. Like how the wheels and tires work with the stance. 1
'70 Grande Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Stunning... simply stunning! Sure would be sweet to have a 1:1 version of this build parked in my own garage! 1
Flatout Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Very Cool and beautifully built…the added details really enhance the build and the Drag City body looks amazing 😎 1
Zippi Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Killer looking 34 Coupe there Rooster. I'm diggin the black accents as it really makes that Seamist Green pop. Super clean looking build. 1
James2 Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 Opinions please. It has been suggested the grill insert be painted black, more in line with the roof and running boards. What is your thoughts?
ncbuckeye67 Posted May 6 Posted May 6 That is beautiful! So clean with that monochromatic (gorgeous) paint.
Jim Whalen Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Nice '34 - the colour scheme works really well. You don't see many of the 34s built up (at least over here in the U.K.), especially with the Drag City Castings resin body (the only one I have seen here is a nice one done by Lee Elliot). The colour scheme reminds me of the 90s rods - you have also got the smooth style on this build that was popular then as well. 1
