cruz Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:11 AM Quicky build. AMT 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 from their Prestige Series of kits. Wanted to do something a little different so I went the Pro-Touring route. Paint is Splash Caffeine Metallic with a Splash 2K clear. Wheels and tires are aftermarket printed in 3D. Went with a combination of Alclad Gold Titanium and Brass for the wheels. This is a curbside build. Wanted to keep it as simple as possible so, even badging and emblems were omitted. This is a very simple kit which I had in my stash for the longest.... 21 1
Lobo2me Posted Wednesday at 02:21 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:21 AM Nearly nice! Great wheel & paint combo and excellent "foil" job!
papajohn97 Posted Wednesday at 02:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:24 AM Spectacular job on the paint work, spectacular job on the BMF trim, love the color, love the stance. I'm not a fan of large wheels with low profile tires on classic cars (I'm old....) but I have to be honest and admit that they look great on this build. Bravo!!!
Kah puts Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM Excellent colour combo + excellent foil work = top drawer build 👍
Doug 1061 Posted Wednesday at 03:28 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:28 AM Beautiful job all around. The pistol grip shifter is a nice touch. Excellent photography also.
falcon wagon Posted Wednesday at 12:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:12 PM Very well done I like the color

Thank you guys, I myself aren't too crazy about the big wheels and low profile tires, I do this very rarely but I just wanted something quick before deciding on my next project. Sometimes is nice to step out of the box and do abnormal BS like this....😁 2

Dragline Posted Saturday at 04:16 AM Posted Saturday at 04:16 AM You never disappoint bro. That coffee color truly works with the gold. Great eye for color.
Zippi Posted Saturday at 10:32 AM Posted Saturday at 10:32 AM Really nice looking build there Marcos. Those wheels & tires sure do bring the ole 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 to life. Great looking color. Nicely done man.
Rattlecan Dan Posted Saturday at 06:17 PM Posted Saturday at 06:17 PM Have to agree with Cruz and Zippi on this one. That's one sharp Quicky as you call it.
