Claude Thibodeau Posted Tuesday at 07:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:52 PM Hi! Had many leftovers from kits that had been kitbashed in previous projects, and then I found two gluebomb 34 Duesenberg in a Ziplock at a recent show for 5$. So... Smoothed the body and hood top, shortened the grille and scratchbuilt: hood sides. reveal moldings, hood hinge, gas tank, R&P steering, belly pan, rear engine compartment mesh panels, air intake tube, door panels, console, pedals, shifter, seat belts, door speakers, taillamp, etc. Engine and IRS are from the BMW Nazca concept car, rear seat from a late Mustang, and windshield from a 37 Ford (all extensively modified). Tamya bright orange + Neon orange lacquers + Lazy modeler flame mask for black flames. Mr Hobby Premium Top Coat clear, fully polished. Rolling stock is modified (narrowed in the front) diecast stuff, hoses & wires, and all chrome is Revell's, with a few Molotow accents. You can't build 'em long and low 'enuff! Hours of fun with styrene. CT. 12

Brudda Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Claude you are amazing. The creative touches to car modeling is outstanding. I like this build. A glue bomb to this! Great job sir. The studio is still producing beautiful builds.
Spex84 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago This is crazy, I love it! The detailing is above and beyond what I'd expect from a Duesenberg gluebomb with an engine stuffed in the back. It actually looks plausible!
Alan Barton Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I love it. Just shows what happens when you don't follow the rules! Cheers Alan
