lilsceamer Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 (edited) I'm entering a contest with a station wagon theme and I have no idea what I'm going to build. I need some inspiration. It could also be a panel wagon. It needs to be a "long roof" body on a car-based frame. Show me what you got. Edited August 30, 2009 by lilsceamer
Jon Cole Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Nuttin' in scale... but I have a Fotki album dedicated to them in 1:1... http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_longroofs_poss/ Plus, I'm sure I have more under the brand name file, I probably never copied it to my "longroof" album.
roadhawg Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I guess this would be the longest roof I got.................

Pete J. Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Don't forget the European wagons. This is a phantom that I did several years ago. This is an Alfa 155 V6 TT crossed with a Volvo BTCC wagon. The top/wagon came from the Volvo and was chopped 2 scale inches and inserts were added to make it a bit more Alfa like in profile. The glass is scratch built and the decals were done by a friend of mine on an Alps printer. The hood was a bit loose when I photographed it but does fit well. Then engine has some minor detailing. It was really quite a complex project but a real hoot. You ought to see people scratch their heads at shows trying to figure out if it is a replica of just what it is.
