Their catalog is $4, well worth the price once you see all they have to offer.

There isn't a website, Norm spends his time developing some great product instead of being online.

As Donnie said, best way to get the product is directly from them or at a show they attend.

Some of these cottage industry vendors are such small time businesses; they don't have the time or resources to use technology for promotion.

Seems like us modelers could help fill in the gaps, yes? If you have any photos of the products of this vendor, maybe we should share that here.

Here is a link to a few pics I have. Note that my photos are not necessarily mine; I give credit where I can. Also, you can search for what you are looking for as the album is listed alphabetically.

Since you're in MD, at the MAMA meeting in Greenbelt the third Sat of the month, directly from Norm himself. He usually brings most of his line to the meeting.

You know what would be cool - a thread just for aftermarket suppliers. Users could post photos of items they order and just put the item # and description in the heading. That way if I wanted to see a picture of RMoMD item #...I could do a search and, blam, there it is!

Dale,

Norm will not be at the meeting this month, but he will be there next month. You can contact him by phone during normal business hours. He will answer your questions in an accurate, courteous manner. He is one great guy. And his products are great too.

I second that emotion.

I've puchased many of his nostalgic hot rod / flathead speed equipment parts through the years and he's quite simply the best there is.

If you can attend a MAMA meeting or see him at one of the shows he attends by all means stock up...he might even give you a little discount.

I have known Norman a good twenty something years . The guy don't screw around . I know , not having a fancy web page does tend to make folks leerey of not dealing with a stranger . Still, I personally have used many of his parts when the need arises . Check out the "Mod Squad figures" he does sometime ! Ed Shaver

Here are his Mom - Pop and the Kids being used :

I founded this ► http://public.fotki.com/crstan/replican-and-miniat/replicas-and-miniat/

78 pic's of product. from replicas & Miniatures

I have used this on several occasions Thanks you for starting it.

Put me down for another YES for a sticky with a list of after market suppliers and what they offer. I spend lots of time searching for stuff on the interweb.

I once found a site that did have that list but have lost the link somehow

Let's keep this bumped! EXCELLENT quality and choice of subjects.

Replicas and Miniatures, along with Altered States, Competition Resins and others are first rate.

There already is a pinned topic listing just the various companies, but if somebody is willing to list and maintain a list of everything every aftermarket company offers, I'd love to see that, too. It'd be a daunting task just to list and post images of what R&MCoM offers, though, which is probably why they're never done it themselves. Ditto for Modelhaus, but it's a moot point for them now anyway. Both seem to be among the minority of companies who don't have an online presence/catalog, though, so someone outside the company has to do the work if it's going to happen.

Norm doesn't have a website or do much marketing. Not a shortcoming on his part,  just that his stuff is so popular that he always has more orders than he can handle.  He has not vended at shows when he's backed up with orders, saying that it wouldn't be fair to sell at a show when he owes people orders.  Good decent guy.

Norm is always coming out with new stuff so his catalog is probably out of date by the time you get it.  I'd suggest you call him - tell him what you're building and I'm sure he can tell you what he has.  Check out this Fotki link from Craig Stansfield for some of his products.  The posting looks to be about a year old..

I usually ask Norm for a pdf copy by e-mail.  He responds very quickly.

2X  I placed an order with him from a pdf he sent me last week.  I also asked him to include me when he mails out the new catalog this year.  He's great and easy to deal with.

Ditto, Norm is a great guy and very easy to deal with. His products are also great. I should dig in my "stash" and use some of his products that I've bought from him in the past.

R & M of Maryland, is the bar that all other resin casters are measured by.  Norm is busy every time I've ordered from him, that's a good thing too he is able to support his small business with our orders. You get your order in, get in line in the orders while Norm casts each to order.  You are getting fresh resin cast parts every time.  Normal turnaround is 3 - 6 +/- weeks depending on backlog ahead of your order.

Norm's quality control is 110+% great, flash is zero to none or about what you'd expect from styrene.  I normally like to order with a larger order every time figuring if I'm going to make an order that it may as well be worth Norm's time, ($150 +) per order.  I figure that if we don't support the really good resin casters well that they will go under just like too many of the early guys did.   Not to mention, Norm is just plain good, honest people who stands behind his work!

In fact I have an order in the mail right now, should be here by Monday.  I'm beginning to salivate already!!

Thanks for all the responses guys, I was hoping for a catalogue prior to calling as I am in Australia and it is costly to call the United States. I have purchased items from Norm a few years ago and find his resin items fantastic and he has always been responsive in the past.

Joel or Skip, Is it possible to post the PDF list to the site

I have emailed him about four weeks ago and received no response to date so think I might have the wrong email address. I used replmincomd@aol.com, but will check if I stuffed up the address.
