george 53 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I remember reading about his work in the model car magazines. He was VERY well known. Sad news indeed. Rest In Peace, Randy. My prayers go out to his family.
Scott Colmer Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I spoke to Randy many times at the NorCal NNL. Truly a nice guy. You will be missed, Randy.
Art Anderson Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Randy, and his late wife Cassie, were part of the group which began NNL-West perhaps 25 yrs ago. They were both also fixtures at early GSL contests--both great people to have known. Art
bobthehobbyguy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Randy was also a great historian of the hobby. He was also willing to share his knowledge with others. He not only supported the NNL West, GSL and helped a lot with the local Goodguys shows. Randy you will be missed. bobthehobbyguy

Randy was a friend - who I enjoyed having numerous conversations with about building model cars. Now joining his beloved wife Cassie in model heaven... He will surely be missed by the car modelers in the San Francisco Bay area... the NNL West just won't be the same without him. Good Bye my friend!
