Miatatom Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I think there might be one of those at this place. It's near Atlanta, GA http://microcarmuseum.com/
W-Machine Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I wana drive it sooo bad! Cool. A street-legal bumper car!

Chuck Most Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Either that guy is really short, or he has no legs. All the same, I'd still cruise that thing.
peter31a Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Greg, you realize you just ruined Harry's next Auto I.D. quiz? Just kiddin'
Greg Myers Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 "Blimey" is the wrong word. It's a German car. In reference to the chap driving.
Deathgoblin Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I'd have to have one of those for either foot and roller skate to work. I'd never in my life fit in one.
gasser59 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Probably not even enough room for an ashtray in that thing. I wouldn't fit either but it'd be fun though.
rustymodeler Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I dont think I could get in this thing, I would have to put it on and wear it. Wonder what the safety rating is on this thing.
Harry P. Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I dont think I could get in this thing, I would have to put it on and wear it. Wonder what the safety rating is on this thing. It's from the days before "safety ratings." (1958)
Harold Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 That's a small car, but not as small as this. I'm surprised Clarkson was able to fit inside. Let alone drive it to work
charlie8575 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 At least it'll be easy on gas. Not so easy on you getting in and out... Charlie Larkin
Jon Cole Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 If ya get hit while in that, they may never locate you. Depends on what county/state you land in.
Austin T Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Oh my gosh that episode with Clarkson and the tiny car is hysterical.
crazyjim Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 So who is this Clarkson guy, other than the guy in the little car?
Joe Handley Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) Either that guy is really short, or he has no legs. All the same, I'd still cruise that thing. Could be this guy Edited July 15, 2012 by Joe Handley

I can honesty and quite seriously say that probably weigh more than that car
Junkman Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) Actually, the Brütsch Mopetta (named after its designer, Egon Brütsch) was the godfather of a quite spiffy roadster: It had independent suspension all round and a solenoid operated five-speed pre-selector gearbox operated with pushbuttons!
