Hawk312
I got tired of seeing this kit just sitting on the shelf, and I don`t have any GTOs to display, so I thought I would whip this one together quick while waiting to finish my main projects. This took me a total of about two weeks to complete, which is lightning fast for me. I actually "finished" this over a month ago, but I still haven`t had time to put the emblems on. That`s why you don`t see any emblems yet. I had a little trouble on the front bumper which you can see in the pics, but other than that, it was a terrific kit. wrecker388
My mom's first car was a '66, my mom didn't have it very long because something broke( I think the A arm or something, idk)and then replaced it with a '65 which is still in our possession today . Nice Goat, i love seeing these built

CorvairJim
Thanks everyone! The color is Testors Custom Lacquer Series Phoenician Yellow. It was the exact shade I was looking for. Ohh...and the wheels are the Keystone Classics from the 68 Charger kit. That's "the exact shade" I've been looking for too! That's Pontiac's take on Chevy's "Lemonwood Yellow" from 1966, which I need for the replica I'm planning of the '66 Corvair Monza I had for many years. Thanks for the tip. Hawk312
What kit did you use? It`s the Revell kit. I was very pleased with it. In fact, it has much better detail than the 1/8 kit I am currently working on.
