The Creative Explorer
I've finished this a while back, but never got to the point of making good photo's. It is something I never have build before and enjoyed a lot. A fantasy build, far away from perfect polished paint and nice wired engines. None of that! I had to learn a lot of new techniques, but for a first run I don't think I did a bad job. I love how the little details came out and I like how my cobwebs turned out. crazyjim
Sure is rusty and bullet ridden. I keep thinking about this kit with dual 23" Pegasus wheels in back. I just don't know how bad I'd have to cut the body.

sjordan2
Great detail, especially on the electrical parts and the convertible boot. Is the maroon car the Testors-Italeri 540K like the one you posted recently?
Steven2
That's some great weathering. I love it.
kruleworld
I keep thinking about this kit with dual 23" Pegasus wheels in back. I just don't know how bad I'd have to cut the body. i would like to see a rommels rod with chrome wheels too (and gloss black paintjob). i'd call it "Fast and the Führer"
The Creative Explorer
thanks everybody for the kind words. it was a fun project and i think it shows in it. definately not a project when one wants to count rivets haha. I didnt go for realism, but just fun. @Skip: the 540k is the car that I posted recently. I finished this car somewhere in march, but never got to make good photos. I have another Rommels rod, of which i have some ideas as posted herer, so with bling wheels and colourful paintjob. I do like what it is mentioned here Edited October 14, 2012 by The Creative Explorer
