At the Hope it Don't Snow show: Lindberg Dodge 330, with the Slant Six and 383. Ideas have been floating around in my head since I bought it.

I got this from ebay, $21 total with free shipping. I had been looking for this kit for a while and when I saw the price, I couldn't pass it up. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the license plate decal included a license plate frame for "Alhambra Jeep," a dealer close by to me.

John, that kit has the nicest slant six that was ever done in a kit! You gotta use it.

I wired that slant six, in fact I did a lot of wiring! :D

As said, that distributor is so buried, just hollow it out and put seven wires in the middle.

Use of the Slant Six is a distinct possibility. Maybe even with a header. The one problem that I see is that the distributor cap is so tiny, I won't be able to drill it for wires and there is just so much room under that hood, screaming for the simple early '60s details.

Got these in the mail today from our very own Tommy Logan (Roadhawg) & www.speedwaydecals.com. All you factory stock builders out there looking for stock under hood decals, look no further. This is your ticket! The package on the right were a few that Tommy made up custom for me. Sounds like some interesting stuff coming down the pipe too! :) SteveDSCN3710_zps485f6635.jpg

That looks like some good stuff. I need some of these in both 1/24-25 and 1/12 scale.

Thanks! After searching over a year for one example that isn`t warped or messed up i think this is a keeper.

I consider try out the "new" 61 Galaxie for donor,to open it up and make it more detailed. Time will show.

A Glue Bomb of Jo-Han '71 Barracuda Pro Stock arrived yesterday. I have already restored one of these kits and it was a lot of fun. Now when this was for sale with a really reasonable price, I decided to buy it with plans of restoring it as a Super Stock Drag Car. It's missing some parts also, but that might not be a problem.

Yesterday I also bought some styrene rod to complete the roll cage on my Top Street Mustang build.

have to cut around each little part?

Sorry Tommy, I have yet to use them, but I'm very sure you'd have to cut around each decal. No different than if you made them yourself. Steve
