atomicholiday Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Post-man just dropped this off: Thought I'd give a single-action ab a shot for something different. Seems to be built very well. I just won a Badger 105 (double action, gravity feed) on ebay too (for more detailed work).
Kit Basher Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) That Badger is the only A/B I own, and I like it just fine. Easy to use, easy to clean, and has held up well for 20 years. If you can find the little accessory cup that plugs in where the jars go, it's really nice for small quantities of paint. Hope you like it too! Edited April 20, 2015 by Kit Basher
thatz4u Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I got this kit, box was toast, 70 Boss 302 great, other 2 Tangs for parts...

I've got an Aztek that I've used for a long time, but there are a few things about it that I don't like. It's kinda fragile (plastic parts) and you can't buy replacement parts. So I'm hoping I like this (and the 105 that's coming) as replacements.

I've heard folks say they get real good results with both though. Have fun.
landman Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 KFS goodies, direct from England. Load binders, ratchet straps, shackles & hooks, a crane. Niiiice. That crane is stupendous. Can't wait to get at it.

gtx6970 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) An absolutly pristine 1959 Edsel kit. That one hurt the toy fund. Edited April 20, 2015 by gtx6970

Roadrunner Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Kevin, what A/B do you use? Just curious. Any one of these three; Paasche H or VL, or my Iwata Revolution CR, not a top of the line Iwata, but it works fabulously, and was within my budget at the time. I used a Badger 350 for many years, but it eventually died, so I stepped up to the Paasche H as a replacement. We painted a zillion paint masters for the toy industry with the H model, so I became sold on it, it's a very utilitarian tool.

chunkypeanutbutter Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 A bunch of plastic stock and some decals from Brizio. Have to finish my box truck Datsun so I can out them to good use!
Tom Geiger Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Well I didn't get a moment's break at NNL East so for like the fifth year in a row I got nothing! And that's just fine, we do the show for the guests. I can always find models at other shows. I did pass Ollies on my way home so I bought 7 cans of Plastikote primer... that should hold me for a while!
Deathgoblin Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Got in a Testors Porsche 928S. I had forgotten how detailed this kit was.
michaelbaskett Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Picked up the Wix Filters Cobra at the Drag Racers Show on Sunday in Hamilton Ont.... Not much of a Diecast Fan, but I could not pass it up after viewing the stunning detail of it.... Maybe i'll use it for trade bait someday....
Agent G Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 This came yesterday. I retired two older brushes and gave one to the grandson so..................... G

All the pictures look great, you put on a good show. You are lucky Tom the ollies around here only have paint for marking on the ground for construction.
935k3 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) Agreed. I love my Revolution. I have the Revolution too, It's a great airbrush for the price. I like having both the Eclipse(.35mm tip) and the Revolution(.50mm tip). You can get parts to convert the Eclipse to .50 mm if you like a bit heavier spray. You can also get needle limiter handles for both which can come in handy sometimes. Most of the parts for the Eclipse are available at Hobby Lobby(40% off coupon) Edited April 22, 2015 by 935k3
