What engine goodies come in this kit????... Thanks in advance!..🙂

Lotsa nice chrome dress up for the engine, plus those pipes stickin out of the hood as seen on the box.

Just got a Heller 1/24 scale E-type coupe molded in red, for a good bit less dollarage than the recent oddly proportioned Revell kit I was sorely disappointed with.

For my money the Heller kit is VASTLY superior for a number of reasons...even though it's molded in red.

I like it so much I have one molded in white on the way.

how do they scale for kit bashing? I like the revell undies better but neither really captures the rear axle well with both losing a lot of what makes it look so good under a car. there was a great aftermarket axle but the maker recently shut down unfortunately

My dad gave this to me yesterday.  It’s a 1963 boxing, and it’s dead mint!  Even the decals look good.

That is so neat Jeremy, are you going to build it?

Yesterday's "haul" from NNL East.  Didn't take any "big ticket" items to sell, still did better than I thought I would, and spent a fraction of that.

The '48 Ford sedan is only roughed out but the work done so far looks symmetrical.  I'll chop out the offensive areas one at a time, for three bucks it's worth messing with.  If the fix is successful, I've got a spare '48 coupe to drop this body on.

I was surprised those two Moebius kits weren't cleaned out by the time I got to the Model King stand.

The Falcon is a convertible, looks rough but is actually quite nice.  Nothing sanded off or glued over, no hole in the hood, just needs its paint removed and a good soak to loosen up the windshield glass.  If I have to grind it out, it might become a hardtop with the roof from an altered wheelbase '65 body.  Another one for the pile.

The Cutlass had the engine assembled and the custom parts are gone, but the body and stock chrome are untouched.  I was looking for a second one to build a stretched body for a Vista Cruiser conversion, and there it was, cheap.  The STS decals are for a '79 Bronco, also a Mopar Mod Top.  The AMX body came from the JoHan table, it is damaged but will be cut apart so I can resin cast its perfectly straight A-pillars to save a couple of Javelin and AMX bodies.

Not shown is a Monogram Hurst Hairy Olds decal sheet (had a kit missing one) and this year's T-shirt.

From our trip to NNL East, Saturday. As each enthusiast paid to enter they were given a raffle ticket, an NNL East tote bag that held a plastic cup, a pair of photo etched license plate holders with NNL East paper tags to go with them, a people's choice Ballot to fill out and a show directory. Some tote bags had an extra goodie, a wooden plug nickle that was worth $5.00 off any vendors price, Pretty cool IMO. All that being said, my daughter had a winning raffle ticket which she allowed me to pick an item. I picked an AMT '67 Chevell Pro Street kit. I also picked up a newly issued Moebius '65 Chevy 2 Nova Resto Mod kit and the MPC Vending Machine from the "Model king" table. I managed to pick up a Revell VW T1 bus that I've been after from Auto Models LLC's table. From the STS table I requested two copies made of my MPC One-Arm Bandit kit decals since my original is not the best. From the Jo-han table I picked up a couple of his Tee Shirts. Lastly, we grabbed two of this year's show tee shirts, which we used the two plug nickles that my grandson luckily scored in his NNL tote bag, making each shirt $15.00, can't beat that, so thank you guys for that opportunity.

The Lindberg and Airfix Type K Firebirds are the same kit.  An old Scale Auto Enthusiast article shows the Lindberg kit being kitbashed with a Monogram Trans Am to make a full detail Type K.

That is what I was thinking of doing. Any idea on what issue it was in?

Thanks

The rear end assembly looks to me (on first inspection without having built it up) th be the best representation of the Jag IRS I've seen to date in any kit...and I'm, you might say, somewhat familiar with the real ones.  ;)
