Revell seems to have the molds for this kit, except maybe the Odyssey. Here's hoping find that part too and drag it out for a reissue.

I realized that I was on my last sheet of BMF and it has some wrinkles in it.😕 So I went to a LHS and picked up four sheets. That should last me awhile. On the way there I stopped at Michaels and grabbed this ‘55 Chevy for $20 hoping that it had some useable parts. After opening it, I kinda wish I had put the money towards a real nice kit.😕 Oh well, its got some wheels and tires at least.

Just make that 55 a 4x4.

Odds are they still have it, as the Virago announcement may have just proved. I would love to see it re-issued so I can leave my originals alone!

So... I got my 47 Chevy Panel for my gasser build, I snagged a 40 Willy's coupe, some primer, and a bunch of goodies from Iceman!

Made a trip to Fort Worth today so of course I had to stop at a Wild Bill's Hobbytown. They always have some surprising old kits. I went for some Tamiya clear, but they were out so I couldn't leave without buying something that would be rude. Here's the three things I couldn't pass up. A Tamiya Honda Fit Cabriolet, a Nissan coupe, and a Ford Courier. The truck isn't rare, and is the stepside, but I really only need the cab and frame. I have one of the Fit already but it was missing some parts so it never got built.

Moebius ... see we want some of the old promo's done .. like this one and others. (I know it's a pipe dream, but would be amazing if they could do them.)

I stopped by hobby lobby, noticed that a lot of Xacto products were on clearance. A few of the knives and the standard #11 blades are basically half price. The revell 442 was also clearance, as well as a few iwata airbrushes. I stocked up on blades.

I hit Hobby Town today, as my daughter wanted some 3d puzzles. So I snagged a couple bottles of glue, some sanding flexible sticks, some pearl clear, and titanium.

I also hit my LHS, and grabbed some wheels for 2 of my Tamiya kits, and white wall kit for the 57 Fairlane I am building for my wife.

I also grabbed these little storage baskets from Walmart for my paint organization. They are in the back to school section, they fold flat too.

Obviously I know little about the process, but would it be possible to scan a warped promo, correct it digitally and print it out?

it would be possible but its probably more work than starting fresh or buying a ready made file. I beleive a designer called ARTIST-IT has most of the american 50s cars from a buick caballero to a edsel pacer
