Those are some really great finds!

I got a fun surprise today, I have another forum I am active on, and been doing a build post there, like I have here. Well I had ran into a stoppage on progress with the engine because Tamiya didn't make  paint close enough to Pontiac Engine blue, well one of the mods there said he had a jar of Model Masters Pontiac Engine Blue paint. I offered to buy it from him, well he said no, and offered to send it to me.

Today I got the package from him, and not only was it the Pontiac Blue, but it was a few other engine colors as well, so Brent if your here, thank you again!

Also snagged some nailpolish beads for mixing, and gonna start dropping them in my paints.

Got the Tamiya kit in a Excellent Trade with Street Rod. Got the Rays Decals off of Ebay from Pontiacbanker. Decals are for a GMC 1971 Sprint, GMC version of a El Camino.

A few kits arrived over the past week. Surprised at how detailed this Heller 917 is. I always thought they were pretty basic. Will definitely be doing this in Gulf livery. I have some Splash Paints incoming for it.

Also got some decals from SpotModel, which I'll post about in a week or two when my next purchase arrives. Pretty stoked about this one.

Not pictured are my two additional Tamiya GT3RS kits that also arrived.

Michael, you should keep in mind that Pontiac used several blues on their engines over the years and that may not be factory correct for whatever you're building.

That Testors paint is only correct for '66 to '70.

This is how it was shipped. (No Box). Then while looking at it I noticed a Hobby Lobby Price tag on it......anyone have any ideas about how and why?

We got an Ollie's last Spring and they never had models until recently. I went by for something else and they had a large pile of kits stacked by the door. I didn't see anything I needed until I came across a Revell Lamborghini Diablo.

It's funny because I've been wanting to do one up as a tuner, sort of Liberty Walk style. So now it goes on the stack to wait for time and patience.

Shipped with no packaging at all!? That's wild. And worse than the kit I received that was shipped in a bag. Although, yours doesn't look like it was sat on or used for soccer practice.

I can't believe AutoWorld would send a kit like that, their standards must have really slipped!

I wonder if they sub-fulfilled the order from a third party. I know there are a couple of people in even our small town who troll Walmarts and HLs looking for marked down kits and Hot Wheels to resell. A couple of times I've run across one of them sweeping a whole row of clearanced kits into a basket.

I have bought a ton of stuff directly from Autoworld.  Always packed carefully in a box, never any problems. Although they did used to ship a catalog with thier orders, last few orders I've noticed they don't include one now. (Not a deal killer though). Thats whats confusing, Fulfilled by Autoworld,  but with a Hobby Lobby price tag on it.

I also don't understand the shipped by Autoworld with a Hobby Lobby sticker. But when ordering from Amazon, you do have the choice for items to be shipped in... manufacturer's package...or packaged by shipper in additional packaging.

FYI for later...

I just drop a few bb's I picked up at a local clearance store in the jars.

Assuming this is in reference to the "mixing beads"? I had wondered if the copper would have a weird effect on the paint.
