Nothing today, went to Hobby Lobby to see if the Rat Roadster kit was in yet and it wasn't. I did how ever help a couple pick out a airbrush and let them know about the 40% off coupon. Nothing better than saving 40% on a 200.00 airbrush you were going to buy anyways. The employee was telling them nothing but wrong BS about airbrushes and i just couldn't stand there and listen to it anymore. By the end he learned a lot from me and was asking more questions than the people buying it.

I think I paid $34 for it

Lucky! I go to the Goodwill store every time I pass by and have only found a diecast car once!

They sell model kits on their website too, I always forget to check Good Will for model kits

Got this and two cans of paint from Hobby Lobby

I'm a lucky guy. Kindly old Gepetto dropped off these Aztec pearls.

Then this showed up. I never thought it would happen.

And to top it off, this minty-fresh novelty from the Hon. Rev. Mr. Black. It even has the tinted windows.

This arrived a couple of days ago, ordered it through eBay, from Burbank's House of Hobbies, brilliant service, again took just over a week to arrive

A hair cut last night......And 2 of the 69' GTO funny cars...Nice kits to base stock builds on.......The 69' Olds 442 chassis fits the body like a glove!

If you go to the store for one thing, don't look at anything else, or you will have two things...

Now if I could just find a SBC to drop in the landcruiser...

I was wondering about that, as I'd eventually like a stock 1/25 '69 GTO Judge myself. I think you still need to find an interior, correct?

Have you tried the Revell '72 Cutlass chassis under the MPC body?

Haven't tried that, but the MPC '70 GTO interior, chassis, engine etc fits fine under it...

I spoke too soon! Yes we did get that snow... and who came trudging up to the door? The mail man. That's unusual since our mailbox is down at the curb. And he had a Priority Mail box with this Citroen truck in it! I ripped it right open and already have all the parts off the trees and prepped. I feel like an excited 12 year old. Haven't gotten to a kit that quick in years! Yipee!

Sorry for quoting the whole pic but was unsure how to cut it down. Anyway, what's the story on the Testor's Aztek Pearls? I've never seen Testors bottles like that before. Any info?

it's way to long. The 69' Olds works best.....I read the 1/24 scale monogram interior will work with some mods to it.

I'm shocked! I love these old Heller Citroen trucks. I have them all but who can pass up an opportunity to get another copy? So I bid reasonably often, but never win. So imagine my surprise that I won two of them in separate auctions today. The Normandy for $16.50 and the Bordens truck for $22.72. I lost the Hotel Taxi short bus version which sold for around $50. That's okay! Now to go sit out by the mailbox!

Hi Tom,

Didn't know about those Heller Citroens. I have always wanted to build some of the earlier ambulances, but the Johan Cadillac kits from that era just didn't look right. May have to check into these kits...

Hey Hope all is going well for ya.....Hope to see ya at the next "City Style" Model Car Club Meet....

Cheers...Don aka XJ6

I might be able to help there ^ i store my paint upside down so all the paint dont seddle to the bottom of the jar and when it dose i take the lid off and scrape it off with ease instead of trying to mix it back in with the paint .
