talon63 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 It's unacceptable. Equally unacceptable is that Ebbro's website is only in Japanese.Google Chrome browser translates it well enough. At least enough to fill out the Contact form
mk11 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) Stumbled across this little darlin' with two hours left on the clock, a low buy-in and no apparent watchers... Put in a bid at what I expected some sniper might throw in at the last ticks of the clock. Sure enough, the competing bid was fired in... for a whole dollar more Piker Final tally was a quarter of a c-note, plus one buck 'course, being listed as a 'mavrick' may have helped it elude the search engines; just like the pair of 'flacon' awb bodies I picked up for less than a sawbuck a couple of years ago mike Edited December 25, 2015 by mk11
Jhedir6 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Where you got that "silver liquid" labeled paint?Just from my local hobby store, its a Vallejo product, 35ml large plastic bottle. Item #790 Silver. It's great stuff, goes on smooth, nice for detailing chassis as it leaves no brush marks, much better than Tamiya paint.David

I got many a bargain over the years. The spelling thing also works. I have a search (Valiant, valient) that regularly produces results.
GeeBee Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) O.K, this is going to be the last model I buy this year, Honest .... Edited December 26, 2015 by GeeBee
martinfan5 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I really want to get one of these, but this is very discouraging and I'm holding off until they fix their packaging problem. If they don't address this, I don't buy.The body in mine was just fine BTW

ChrisBcritter Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 R&R '59 Chevy convertible top, cheap, for my '59 Pontiac - figure since it's a vacuform part it can tweaked to fit without much grief.
Junkman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 O.K, this is going to be the last model I buy this year, Honest .... We'll talk about that once the year is over...
bismarck Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Finally got my hands on the Meng F-350 kit and some better aftermarket tires. I got it for WAY below retail, so i bought some extra goodies for it as well.
timc Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) I got the October issue of MCM today, and my order for one of the new 61 Pontiac Ventura kits was put in at the lhs. The nice lady said it should arrive Thursday.I would like to find one of those Hasegawa Jeeps if they are 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I would like to know more about that one. Snake45 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Bought the reissued '69 Corvair 40% off at HL. Pretty nice, except the turbo parts (last seen in 1966?) are still MIA.The box art is outstanding. Whoever did it really nailed the 1969 look. It was so convincing that I had to google-image the original 1969 box to see if it was different (it was).

Did you by any chance notice if HL has started selling the MPC Bad Company van? I stay away for HL once Dec hits tell after Christmas
drsnapper55 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) Check out Tractor Supply if you have in your area - found they had some decent die casts for 50% off now. I found an Apache fleet side pickup for $11. Edited December 27, 2015 by drsnapper55

vintagercr Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Modelhaus has nice Buick wires too. I used them on mine. Steve
vintagercr Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Not sure what happened above as I did not want to quote. Yesterday I picked up the '61 Pontiac Ventura, '50 Ford Convertible and the Flameout for my buddy
Harry Joy Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I would like to find one of those Hasegawa Jeeps if they are 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I would like to know more about that one.The one pictured is 1/24th. But there is also a 1/48th, and that's the one I more commonly see stocked. The 24th I've only seen online.

I briefly considered selling it, but I have two 1:25 armor kits to finish, and I decided to use it in a vignette with one of the two, probably the Jagdpanther.
