Metalmad Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 2010 SS Camaro ,Tamiya Green Pearl Paint, Testors One Coat Lacquer,Scratch Built K&N Air Filter,Aluminum Rear Fitted Axle, Drilled out the Brake Rotors, Blacked out the Wheels. There are some minor issues that where some what fixed but to properly fix one I would of had to strip the paint and repaint the whole car. I also filled in the lines of where the front and rear clips joined the body. The motor is for my next build which is a 68 Hemi Dart which is only one of the three that are started and on the bench also. Tell me what you guys think ! and thanks for looking !
Metalmad Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Forgot to mention that I also removed the lower grill insert and replaced it with a metal grill and painted it semi black.
Miatatom Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Nice build. That color is sharp. My wife's favorite.
charlie8575 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Feels good to get one done, doesn't it? And you did that up beautifully! Charlie Larkin

Luis Ayala Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 You did a fantastic job; the engine bay looks super clean and nicely detailed. The paint looks great, really smooth and shiny. You have great skills my friend; those 15 years have just sharpened them. Thanks for sharing !!!
Jim Whalen Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Hi, Nice rendition of the Camaro! It must feel great to have completed a model again - hope it provides the inspiration to enjoy this wonderful hobby and produce some more nice models to share with us! Cheers, Jim
pa3de8 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Wowee... That looks sharp. I was always on the fence about the new Camaro until I actually got a good close up of one in this green paint. I kinda like it now. The big 3 need to bring back more of that retro look with the sleeker lines. Look how well it panned out for Dodge/Chrysler. Again great build! Nice color choice.
Metalmad Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Thank you all for the comments ! Yes it's nice to finally get one of my started builds done now its time to finish the 68 Hemi.
