Brianl Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Great thread, awesome builds but ever noticed we don't seem to like putting drivers in our race cars?
S. Svendsen Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Here's the photo I shot for the Moebius Hudson convert box art. It's one of my favorites.
Bernard Kron Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Here's the photo I shot for the Moebius Hudson convert box art. It's one of my favorites. Beautiful photography. Having been experimenting with black backgrounds and reflective surfaces lately I can appreciate what went into this picture. A well turned out model doesn't hurt either!
Bob Ellis Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 "58 Impala vert with '64 Impala bucket seats. That's Posh 1 and Posh 2 modeling next to Impala just to SPICE up the foto.
Pete L. Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Beautiful models, beautifully photographed, Brian! Here's another from my album... "Sam's Pickup," an ebay find, built by a pretty talented kid in the early '60s. Taken apart, cleaned, and rebuilt with some subtle changes to enhance the cool factor... Super...can we see more pics of this one ? thank you

Tom Geiger Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 The Impala rocks Dave Tom... ...have you more picture from those two? Any Thread here? I would like to see more from both, especially the Interieur from the Chevy. Dominik- The '57 Chevy is diecast and this was the photo I took before I modified it. The interior in it is very poor. I had thought about creating a nice interior for it, but never did. Below is a photo of the finished model, but prior to installing the red light on top. The build photos are: http://public.fotki.com/ModelCitizen/model_cars/my_model_cars/my-finished-models/1957_chevy_suburban/ The Ford pickup is one of the box art trucks from the Model King release of the '79 Ford pickup. The photo you saw was one of the raw photos Doug Whyte took and emailed to me prior to doing the photo shopping you see on the box. Here's a front view: And the build album is: http://public.fotki.com/ModelCitizen/model_cars/my_model_cars/my-finished-models/test_folder/ Thanks for asking! Tom G

gonzo64nova Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I've always wanted to try to create one of those x-ray shots they used to have on the covers of the Hot Rod magazines back in the day. I recently completed a Cop-Out Duster so I had my subject and heres how it turned out... The Duster Edited July 18, 2013 by gonzo64nova
Lunajammer Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 This is such a striking photo. And I'm usually critical of melty dents and cotton smoke. You've really captured action in a way I haven't seen in a long time and I believe the photo craft has much to do with it. Well done sir.
