detailstymied Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) so scan & email isn't allowed? what happens if the faxee has had his land line removed as considered redundant to his phmart sone? Edited June 28, 2015 by detailstymied
Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Not always. I recently needed a replacement DD 214, I had to print a signature form, sign and date it,band either jail it, which would have meant up to a 8 week wait, or fax it,band have the new DD 214 inside of 2 weeks. You do the math. I also used it extensively when looking for work. Saved lots of gas faxing resumes.
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 so scan & email isn't allowed? what happens if the faxee has had his land line removed as considered redundant to his phmart sone? Believe it or not, not everyone has a scanner. Yes, I know it's difficult to grasp, but try. And...ummm...if the faxee has no land-line, he's probably not going to require a fax...right? Many MANY businesses still have land-lines and fax capability...including a large percentage of insurance offices and attorneys.
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Fireworks stands opened yesterday. Idiotic thing to do because of the drought conditions. Hopefully we can make it through without any major incidents. Ironically its the do gooder organizations fund raising programs. Argh.

It's illegal to possess or shoot off fireworks in PA. But at every state border there are HUGE fireworks stores. To buy there, you must show out of state ID. They aren't supposed to sell to PA residents. Here's the clincher... they have these set up at the borders to New Jersey. Where it's also illegal to possess or shoot off fireworks. Stupid, stupid and stupid! I hear tale that the NJ state troopers sit on the Jersey side, watch cars leave the fire works stores and pull them over as soon as the cross the border. Stupid, stupid and stupid! Edited July 1, 2015 by Tom Geiger
Olskoolrodder Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Almost as soon as I got paid,Bill took most of it (as in,paying Bills )

bobthehobbyguy Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Joe sorry not my intent to offend. Just cynical as to the intent of WB. Big corporations are always in it for the almighty dollar.
bobthehobbyguy Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Ironically the definition of political correctness is not to offend a particular group however you are always going to offend somebody in the process. It is truly impossible to please everyone.
Joe Handley Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Speaking of displeased, fireworks are a booming tonight........
bobthehobbyguy Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Interesting that you say that I've heard few here. Not thrilled about it either.
Mike_G Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 My neighborhood is like a war zone on the 4th Here's the aftermath from ONE neighbor: I used to like the 4th of July, now I'm like an unpaid babysitter making sure a bunch of drunk rednecks don't burn my house down with their illegal fireworks
martinfan5 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Custom's holding my HLJ shipment because of the gundamn markers.
Olskoolrodder Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 All the fireworks heard but unseen (note,I enjoy fireworks as much as anyone,but...)....some of the sounds brings remembrance of what seems a lifetime ago (and just a twinge of PTSD flare-up) BTW,my thoughts on PC...it's for pansies who--like toddlers--don't have the ability to deal with/handle/control their emotions,so they demand that everyone else sugar coats everything for them.
