What irks me is that summer is fading as it's getting darker earlier which I don't like as I enjoy going to cruise nights around town checking out all the cool rides and chatting with the owners. I really think that we could easily do with one less month of winter.

As long as the additional month of Summer doesn't include hot and very muggy tropical weather.  I would like that extra month to be in late Spring or early Fall. :D

Yeah, July and August have been rainy and muggy here.  But I'm looking forward to September and October.  They were great last year here in NE Ohio.

Drivers that don't pay attention. I was third car back in a left turn lane. Arrow goes green and we sit and sit. Gave a light toot on the horn and the guy woke up and drove. I was just able to make the light. Three cars able to go instead of probably six. Guy on phone ?????

always on phone.. even drivers sitting in the lane next to the left turning lane will jump on the gas when they see out of the corner of the eye .because they are on the phone and not driving like they should be. that's my pet peeve

its getting dangerous out they're ... in Toronto pedestriens are getting hit and killed almost daily.  not to mention all the hit and runs. sad

I would gladly give up one month of summer to have an extra winter month. :D

Yeah, when I lived in Phoenix the heat would drag on and on...still was so warm in October.   If it never got above 100, I wouldn't mind it so much.

Gotta agree with you.Long Island NY gets real humid, and this summer has been way to sticky. And we had some rain.Which is no problem. Its just the humidity.Give me another October, and I'd be happy.

So I go down to my basement to take out the trash and find that part of my basement is flooded due to my water heater springing a leak.  Nothing really damaged... except maybe my wallet...!!!   We're accruing $$$ to pay our yearly County School Tax bill and the timing of this really sucks...!!!

Yeah I've had that happen before and thinking of having my hot water heater replaced next year whether it needs it or not.

That was one of the things on the top of the list when we had all the remodeling done on this new house before we moved in. Then I had the plumbing contractor build a "control board" for all the water in the house to include dual carbon filter housings with bypass valves. I didn't want a "big surprise" 6 months after we moved in. Bought the most energy efficient water heater I could.

Water Heaters are designed to start leaking around the 5 - 6 year mark. We have two and they take turns going out. I can call the Plummer and all I have to do is say my name and he asks witch one and I'll see you this afternoon. I think we have been paying into his 104k for years now.... As for bad drivers, in this area Stop Signs are considered a suggestion and Red Lights are run based on how long they have been red. If you want to go 10 to 20 M.P.H. under the posted limit you use the center or fast lanes only. If you see someone entering the freeway you either speed up to block or slow down as needed. If you are entering the freeway do not exceed 40 M.P.H. until everyone on the road has had an opportunity  test their ABS Braking systems. When passing you must turn in front of the other car a quickly as possible, see ABS Test above. When being passed you should always speed up until the other car has gotten around you, now going 20+ M.P.H. faster than when they started to pass you,  then drop back to the slower speed to wait to mess with the next driver.

Ain't that the truth!!! I thought we had the most "Alfa hole" drivers in this area, they even pull this nonsense on fully loaded semi's around here. There has been an uptick in fatalities due to these people playing chicken with fully loaded oil well rigs. Seen the results of quite afew head ons cuzz of these bozo's.

Same here and another favorite is when you get a passing lane everyone's a race car driver,go from 10 under to 20 over the limit to not get passed then slow back down when the two lane returns!

What irked me today...???  Well the other day I had a member of a facebook model collector/builder site ask me what all parts I need to repair/restore my dads old ones with and my project builds..(knowing I needed old and hard to find parts) mind you.   So I spend an hour typing out the huge long list of them for him...I get a reply back of..(I dont get rid of any of my older parts)..???   Now mind you I understand someone not wanting to let go of stuff I have some that way myself...but he knew I was looking for old and rare parts..etc. in the first place.   Why waste someones time and hope like that...???

This was the shelf at Micah’s today. There was only 4 glue together model cars. About 2 years ago the shelf was twice as big and full of models.
