Danny Lectro Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 The amoeba has a bubble top. A single-celled show rod?
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 A single-celled show rod? I like the concept. Definitely different.
Harry P. Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Those really bug me! There's no need to fly off the handle.
cobraman Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Some of these kit make me wonder who decided they were a good idea. I can't believe to many of them were good sellers.
Pete J. Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Heck, a lot of those "visable" kits were done for science projects when I was growing up. I did one that was the inner ear for a Biology class in junior high. One of my favorite science projects.
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Those really bug me! There's no need to fly off the handle. Makes one ponder the etymology of entomology.
Harry P. Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Makes one ponder the etymology of entomology. Oh, buzz off...
Chromecop Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I guess some people would say I ONLY have weird kits in my stash...but that's not true! However, IMHO the most weird kit I have is the Aurora/Polar Lights Guillotine. The scale is (I think) 1/12 and I bought it for nostalgic reasons (I built one as a kid) and because I'd like to copy it in 1/25 scale, which will be easier to do when I can check out all the measures of the large kit!
sensei kamikaze Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Hi people, here we saw some weird stuff, this makes me question do I have some weird model in my stash… yes maybe not weird but the dullest of the dull… A brick wall… This is common for the diorama builders you might say, but as far as I know this kit is something different because allow you to build some interesting structures.
LDO Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) I have one of these. I picked it up thinking my mom might remember it. Revell Sassy the kitten, if the image disappears. Edited December 2, 2013 by LDO
mustang1989 Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 I have one of these. I picked it up thinking my mom might remember it. Revell Sassy the kitten, if the image disappears. I have NEVER seen that! Wow! Cool post!
LDO Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Mom was a tomboy as a kid. She didn't have Sassy the Kitten, but she did have Perry the Squirrel. It would be cool if I could find a Perry kit and give her a model she built more than 50 years ago.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 will likely never build it, bought it when my boys were very little, and while not super weird, the weirdest I have.
slusher Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Oh, buzz off... Harry your on a roll and having lots of fun with these kits...

Tom Geiger Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I heard that Sassy The Kitten killed and ate Perry The Squirrel!
mustang1989 Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 will likely never build it, bought it when my boys were very little, and while not super weird, the weirdest I have. I don't think I ever saw this one either!!! Cool!
Harry P. Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Harry your on a roll and having lots of fun with these kits... You know it, Carl! Having fun is what it's all about!
Danny Lectro Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) Okay, I'll add my two cents. I have this: Which represents a human-piloted giant robot, which is itself piloting a... erm... giant-er... robot.
