crazyjim
Rained all day here and it's 66 degrees. My plans for trimming some trees and taking down the Christmas decorations were foiled again. Maybe tomorrow.
Rob Hall
Was cold here in Phoenix last night (about 40 when I left for work this morning) and is about 78 and sunny now..love the cool winter weather.
Harry P.
Well, it stopped snowing after three days and 16+ inches. And we all know what happens when the snow stops. The temperature drops. Big time. We're supposedly in for some major league cold within the next few days... as in when the daily high temperature is below zero. Craig Irwin
Just checked the forecast, a low of -15 Monday, and a high of -15 on Tuesday, after more snow on Sunday. Great weather to stay inside and build, if I didn't have to get out into it and go to work. Danged global warming. High octane
I've had to work outside when the wind chill was -25 degrees, but I was probably 15 years younger then. I've also camped out in tents about 20+ years ago when the temp was 10 below, I survived but don't ask me to do it again. LOL!

niteowl7710
The forecast for Monday here is a daytime high of -4! Now the low on Monday is forecast for -11. Tuesday's highs is -1, Low of -1, so it's just gonna sit there at for 24 hours...that's ridiculous! I'm O.K. with that kinda of nonsense if I'm in say North Dakota, but that mighty cold for SW Pennsylvania.
Agent G
Did they issue an emergency cloud alert and urge people to stay indoors until the danger has passed? Oh yes they did! I called my brother in law who lives in Antioch just to goad him a bit. He called me names I haven't heard since I was aboard ship................................... Danno
More of that "white stuff" comin' on Saturday. Oh boy, oh joy, I can hardly wait. Yeah, right. "White Stuff" here ~ in weather terms ~ is that cloud Agent G saw yesterday. (It has floated down our way today.) In commerce terms, the same phrase refers to a large clandestine industry that passes through here on the sand freeways . . . but you knew that. Danno
PS: I know you're just anxiously awaiting this newsflash ~ it's been in the low- to mid-70s all week and the forecast for the next week is a cooling trend - 68 to 72. And, we gotta keep shoveling sunshine.

Greg Cullinan
Bitter cold and half foot of snow in the Philadelphia suburbs. It's full beard weather. Enjoying it. We all had a snow day today, my daughters are home from college. We camped out in living room last night and watched movies. Today is a Risk tournament. Rob Hall
Sounds too cold for a swim. I quit using my pool for the season when the water temp dips below 75. Edited January 4, 2014 by Rob Hall
Tom Geiger
Sounds too cold for a swim. I quit using my pool for the season when the water temp dips below 75. You'd never survive in Pennsylvania. My pool sits in a private spot in the woods. It gets little direct sunlight. It has an electric cover that we use nightly and during the week when we're not using it to keep leaves and critters out. The only way it ever hits 75 is from the heater!
