Lunajammer Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) I know there's no shortage of goofy stuff on the net and it doesn't have to end up here. But I find myself strangely attracted to this. Edited April 11, 2014 by Lunajammer
DrGlueblob Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Arrgh! Gee, thanks bud.. What is seen can't be unseen.. Just kiddin'.

Rob Hall Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Disgusting..I wonder what leads to people building such atrocities...too much alcohol? Drugs? Mental illness? Some things just can't be unseen. Edited April 11, 2014 by Rob Hall
Harry P. Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I have to admit I can admire the workmanship, but the end result is a disaster. You can't just slap together parts from several different cars and expect them to work together in a unified, cohesive way. That thing is just absolutely atrociously ugly. And as if it wasn't already ugly enough, those hideous green/gold flames add even more ugly to the mix.
jbwelda Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) personally I think its pretty darn great looking and some real imagination is obvious there. is that based on a PT Loser body, or maybe an HHR? I especially like the Lincoln front end treatment. edit: on second glance maybe its based on one of those butt-ugly throwback Chrysler wagon things? definite improvement in all ways. jb Edited April 11, 2014 by jbwelda
Bill J Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 That's as ugly in the front end as one of those newer Mazda's that look like a feeding whale shark...
Modelmartin Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 It's for sale! Any morons won the lottery lately?
SSNJim Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) The front end doesn't look any worse than a typical 50's custom. The fins are what kills it for me; even the rear bumper isn't all that bad. No one else noticed the matching E-series van in the background of the first picture? Edited April 12, 2014 by SSNJim
stang_crazy Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 the van in the background with the matching bumper and grill treatment and flames is a ford E series van
DPNM Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 This is one of those customs that make me scratch my head. I am sure it took a lot of time, effort and money but the question is WHY? There is just too much going on to be cohesive. If there is someone here that knows how to photoshop and they have time to kill I'd be interested in seeing what this thing would look like painted gloss black with blacked out chrome and slammed on the ground (leave the chrome dots in the front and rear grilles). I have no experience with photoshop or I'd do it myself. As is, ChrisBcritter pretty much says it all without saying anything.
FASTBACK340 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Aside from the New York tags (which are current…) it has an Emissions inspection sticker, which means it's in the 5 boroughs of the city. I live in Queens County, one of the five boroughs….. and that means it may be way too close. BTW: Great response Chris…. that's a funny avatar!
Roncla Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Maybe a set of old school wheels/ hubcaps would help
Harry P. Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Maybe a set of old school wheels/ hubcaps would help The only thing that would help this monstrosity is a trip to the crusher.
Harry P. Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Is that built on a Saturn ?? Looks like a Dodge Magnum with early '60s Chrysler and a Cadillac rear bumper.
Art Anderson Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Looks like a Dodge Magnum with early '60s Chrysler and a Cadillac rear bumper. While not everybody's cup-o-tea, this thing is very much in the mode of those outrageous customs by say, George Barris, etc. from the 1950's to perhaps the mid-1960's? Considering the various components all welded/leaded/bondo'd together on a Dodge Magnum station wagon: '59 Lincoln headlights, grille surround, with '57 Cadillac Fleetwood "Dagmar" bumpers, '1960 Chrysler tailfins and taillights, and 1960 Cadillac rear bumper ends, it doesn't really look all that bad--save for the fact that the Lincoln front clip doesn't really do that much for the front. Granted, the flame paintjob is a bit much dressing on top of the salad here, wonder how different it might look in a more subdued but well thought out paint job? Art

Imagine coming in on a Monday morning and finding that in your bay.
