Two beautiful Model A Fordor Sedans at least one of which (if not both) is a late 31 Slant Windshield Town Sedan.

That was a rare sight in 1956. Note the little scoops on the rear quarter panel. Could this car also have Air Conditioning also ??  That would be rare, but maybe not in Az.

Here's the weird thing on this: that's a fairly new license plate. Three letters (starting with B ) then four numbers. This means that car was actively registered with the last five years. And with active registration, one would assume the car was being used.

In fact, the registration tag in the lower left corner of the plate is blue. That means the car was last registered in either 2018 or 2014.

THe car does look burned out to be, so that would explain a very quick deterioration in condition.

Entirely possible. Lots of vehicles destroyed up there at that time.

Whereabouts did you see this one?

Did you take that photo about 10 years ago?  Saw that price "per gallon" for a "New York Minute" back in 2008.  Darn near made me want to stop driving.

So, you AU (and apparently China, Philippines, and Thailand) guys already get this thing...but, c’mon Ford! Give US buyers the option...Ford Everest. It’s a real deal 4x4? Is it on a truck platform like the old school SUVs? The new Ranger based...?

The Everest/Endeavour is based on the Ranger.  It's sized between the Edge and Explorer.  The upcoming US Bronco is going to based on this, with different styling.

Don't waste your money... it's p!$$ poor as a 4x4.   Road going SUV is all it is.

Darn. They ride pretty high compared to any crossovers, so was hoping it might have a frame underneath and be legit...

They are based on the Ranger, so they are BOF... Ford is building a Ranger Raptor, so a Raptor version of the Everest and Bronco may be coming down the road.

The last suv that rots biult on a truck platform was the ford excursion and they haven’t made it since about 06

The only American made suv that is on an actual truck platform is the Chevy/GMC suburban/Yukon.

I like it, actually. Read through those links plus a few more - I must have been sleeping or just ignoring some of the press regarding the new Bronco - maybe figuring it’d be all about the name.

Loop 202, approaching Phoenix - '69 Road Runner post car, lunched pretty good on the left. Front axle moved back 6-8 inches, rear wheel sheared off leaving broken studs. Dark metallic blue, Radir Tri-Rib on the front.

Last night the first of this years 'Cruise Brothers' meetings in The Hague (Netherlands) was held. We had excellent spring weather and big turnout of cars, I would guess around 200. I think they ran out of space pretty early. I'm posting a few pictures for your entertainment.
