Just a couple of my favorites. This '66 Charger was for sale. My wife had to pull me away!! Steve I’m assuming the above were taken at the Pan Town show in St. Cloud, MN Steve? Nice selection of cars you shared with us.

unclescott58
By the way, a subtle touch (at least by this car’s standards) I love on this car, are the B-47 style bomber engine pods hanging on each side of the front bumpers. Perfect for the Cold War time period we where living in at the time. interesting that the pods on the Mercury do not house the front turn signals. They are mounted behind the grilles under the headlights. Edited August 24, 2022 by unclescott58
unclescott58
Plus, did anybody notice the extra upper mounted brake/turn signal lights under the rear edges of the roof overhang? Reminds me a bit of the the deck lid brake/turn signal lights we’d see 15 years later, starting on the ‘71 Olds Toronado. Leading possibly later to the third center mount brake light, we’d see approximately 15 years after that?

The colour really pops. Are there any wheel options ? Truck is nice but those wheels cheapen the look to my eye. Maybe it's just me.

Maybe it's just me. That's the only factory wheel available on the Lariat trim level. The Pro, XLT, and Platinum all have their own designs. 👍 But if one were so inclined, any F150 wheel will fit on the Lightning.

Not a huge model show, (maybe somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 or 60 entries) but I did alright. Steve

The ‘56 Mercury XM Turnpike Cruiser was put on the show circuit to preview the new upcoming ‘57 Mercury production models. I'm surprised this isn't legal to drive on the road, as stated earlier. Given some of the weird and wonderful vehicles that do seem to be legal, going on images displayed here, why not the Turnpike Cruiser? Thanks steve

Thanks steve It’s never been officially titled as a street legal automobile. Plus with the value of the car, it was my understanding his insurance company would not let him.

iamsuperdan
One of my client's staff parking. They lease all of their Transit vans and work trucks from me. And the 2022 TRX.
