I saw this behemoth this afternoon.  It would make an interesting model project for someone.

Wonder what it is…some sort of tanker truck.

That’s a hydro excavation truck - it’s useful for making big holes in places where there might be something delicate in the area that could be damaged if you dug via a more conventional method.

It blasts the ground with high pressure water to loosen the surface and then sucks up the sludge that it generates as it works

Yesterday morning I was in line in Panera Bread in San Jose, CA and looked out the window and lo and behold I saw Tesla's Cybertruck parked in front of the store.  I took a quick picture from inside Panera.  The guy drove off before I got a chance to get a closer look.  Most bizarre looking truck I have ever seen.

spotted these at tailgate party last weekend.  I had to wait to get a pic of the ford because I didn't want people to think I was taking photos of the pretty bartender using the taps.

Steve

This is one cherry little '49 Ford. I have owned a couple of '51's which have very slight trim differences, but they never looked this good. As a family w got a new black '49 Ford Custom four door when I was a child. They were all great cars.

I think many European cars are somewhat disfigured by the bumpers required in the USA. The BMW is an example of this.

I know this makes me sound old, but I loved BMWs back then. Now, I look at the new ones and am just, "Bleh." It feels like the company has lost track of what made them special.

My favorite era of BMWs are mid 80s through early 00s...  wouldn't mind having another E36 M3 or an E39 5-series..

Those hydrovacs are built right here in Alberta and shipped all over the states. A friend of mine has delivered a few.

They, current RHD versions, are quite common in the UK now. There’s even a bright blue one in my village.

We also have a few right hand drive Corvette's in north Bucks.
