The70judgeman
On Monday I saw a FUBARed Jaguar F-Type Convertible about to be dragged up onto a roll-back. There is a major construction zone in the Zoo Interchange(anyone from around here knows what I'm talking about) where traffic lanes narrow each way and apparently the driver ran out of room and spun the car around and caved the entire rear-end into a temporary wall. Other drivers had luck on there side, because the Jag was the only vehicle involved. Traffic was backed up for almost 2 miles and hardly moving...glad I was going the other way. Tom Geiger
Today on my way home from work I saw a Smart car with a rotating key in the back of it. It was stopped at a light and the key kept spinning. If it wasn't dark and I knew how to do a video from my smart phone, I would be posting it! RancheroSteve
This Rambler "Speedster": It looked a little rough at first glance, but it turned out to be a well thought out car with good workmanship. Lots of tubing in the interior to strengthen the unibody after the top was cut off. Hey, this could be built using one of those "Ram Blur" snap kits! peter31a
Today I looked out the window at work and there was a Delorean sitting at the curb! In the no parking zone! Did it have wires running along the side? Mr Fusion unit at the back?

Joe Handley
After taking my Cherokee out for a little while, I was out running around in my 200 and started to notice it seems like the XJ Cherokees are returning to the streets, haven't seen this many in one day that didn't belong to my family in a while. Sixx
Yesterday on route 2 headed to Lowell IN, I passed by a 1980's Corvette...4 x 4 !! Nice blue paint, but why on earth would anyone build a Corvette 4 x 4?????? It looked totally dumb! Kind of defeats the purpose of a sports car!? : (

Harry P.
There is a reason for that. I wonder how many people were actually suckered into paying a Cadillac price for a tarted-up Chevy.
cobraman
Isn't that still the case with some vehicles ?
Harry P.
Isn't that still the case with some vehicles ? Sure is. And as long as consumers keep falling for it, they'll keep on doing it.
lordairgtar
I wonder how many people were actually suckered into paying a Cadillac price for a tarted-up Chevy. They still are. Ever see an Escalade or a H3?
Rob Hall
Platform sharing is the norm at most automakers...been that way for decades. The Cimarron was an example of bad badge engineering--pretty much a mediocre Cavalier with some slightly different trim and a longer option list. As far as Cadillac today, the ATS and CTS are on Alpha, which is exclusive to Cadillac for now, though the 6th gen Camaro is supposed to be on it. The XTS is on Epsilon II and has a lot of dirty bits in common w/ the Lacrosse and Impala, but has it's own unique interior and exterior. The SRX is on the same platform as the Equinox and Terrain, but again, unique body and interior. The Escalade is on the same platform as GM's other fullsize BOF SUVs (Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban) but has a lot of differences inside and out...
