89AKurt Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I'm working the Prescott Rally today and Saturday. I will see this Ford Ranger on stage, so technically I can say "on the road". Some cars are using this light setup. The guy with the beater Honda*, I asked how much it cost, more than the car when he got it. ? Lined up for tech inspection. (*not this Honda) 5
johnyrotten Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 This pulled up while I was grabbing lunch. Clean looking vw, sounded good too 1
Earl Marischal Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Unusual coincidental parking. Not seen examples of either of these for years. steve 5

Google turned up pics of Isettas with that window treatment also. I’m used to seeing Isettas with the sliding side windows instead. Edited September 20, 2024 by Rob Hall 1

Rob Hall Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 (edited) Saw a sharp olive green ‘69 Chrysler 300 convertible this morning, rolling along top down on the last day of summer. Edited September 21, 2024 by Rob Hall
rattle can man Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Ulf. It really stuck out in conservative KS. I wish I could have heard it running. My first time seeing one in the real world. It really got my "odd car gene" going
Falcon Ranchero Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Went to Soo Michigan this morning, but ahead of us, two local classics had the same idea. Not sure if there was a car show somewhere or what that they were heading to, but they were nice to see. The '63 Fairlane is actually for sale; $26,500 I believe, and it is a standard tranny. The white '66 Chevelle kinda influenced a model car buy at Hobby Lobby, and since today was 40%, I now have the AMT 66 Chevelle kit. Not going to build it like that car though. 4

espo Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Dogs just want to have fun. My wife and I had a big yellow Lab that had more personable than many people. She would drive around in our El Camino and run errands, and the dog would sit next to her on the seat. The cleaners would give him a doggy biscuit at the drive thru window and the Wienerschnitzel would give him a hot dog or two for free, my wife had to pay for hers. 1 1

OldNYJim Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Saw the second Cybertruck of my life just outside Chicago this weekend…a lot of people don’t like them, and the build quality is apparently questionable but I like that a manufacturer did something really different and polarizing rather than just another boring blob…. Plus, I saw a weird trolley car looking bus: 1

And though I've only seen this in virtual reality (it's only a rendering), I kinda like it...diesel generator on the roof and all: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/diesel-hybrid-hatchback-cybertruck-is-the-stuff-of-overlanding-dreams-or-nightmares-225776.html 1 1
89AKurt Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Wondering if I should just start a new Topic, Prescott Rally. ? First time I have seen two of these cars, this was at the dealership who hosted the event. This is our Stage, we had started the rally here, later (delayed) we were a finish for another Stage. So I saw a homemade Jenga. ? This Ford Ranger was a crowd favorite, but some Subarus were still faster. 3
