Came across this in a parking garage.  All I can tell you is it's an auto granny. All the badging was removed including the top of the grill. The white "streaks" on the side are reflections from the lights. Despite the the hood, I suspect it may have started life as a lesser model, though I could be wrong. Still... a nice looking ride.20241105_102530.thumb.jpg.227dbb0d5431c75ba1c42701f3225b50.jpg20241105_102549.thumb.jpg.9d469710cc372f59db537fc4af87287a.jpg

i saw a guy on a mini bike doing like 55mph in the left lane of traffic.  idk what the frame was but the engine looked like maybe a built up Tillotson 212 on what smelled like race gas.  i watched him lane spit like he was on a crotch rocket, scaring people.  it was mind blowing.

Drivers like that are known as organ doners. Hopefully most of the organs are still reusable when this brain surgeon gits done with them.

It takes guts to be an organ donor

Nah, just organs.. lol

I'm listed as an organ doner on my driver's license, but they're going to have to wait until I'm thru using them, and my driving habits aren't going to be the reason they get them.

Went out for dinner last night, and in the parking lot was a mid-late 80s VW Transporter Doka.

It was dark, and none of the pics I took worked.

But it totally reminded me of the one I had...and miss having.

I was drooling. My daughter thought it was awesome. Wifey still refers to it as a dumb looking truck thing. The boy doesn't care.

don't say doka. ? i remember when people started saying that on thesamba and people would make fun of them for it.  better times.  not to mention nobody outside the VW scene knows what you're talking about.

Is that the body style also called ‘dopplekaben’ or some similar…double cab I assume.

I think this qualifies as a "rat rod".  Petaluma, CA

Not too far away, I saw a 1960 Bel Air, white over light blue with a period patina to it.

I was in San Dimas, CA last night preparing for the Spirit of Speed show.  There was a nicely restored early 50s Suburban driving down the street.

MPC Ford EXP Kit
MPC C3 Corvette "Open Roadster" kit

As I was traveling by our Mission BBQ today I saw a couple privately owned military vehicles leaving their parking lot. A Hummer and this cool ambulance.

Looks like something I've seen on M.A.S.H. a few times....?

By the time they get mine, they'll be way past the sell-by date.

Oh wait...they already are.

What do you think they feed the lab rats.
