1969 De Tomaso Mangusta / Corvette!

Plagiarized from the Ohio Concours facebook page.....This unique all original car was purchased from GM Design in 1969, special built for Bill Mitchell, VP of Design. All had Ford engines but Bill wanted a Corvette engine so Chevrolet R&D built one specifically for this car. The engine is an LT-1 with a 350 crankshaft. The whole car weighs just 2978 pounds.

The owner said he puts a couple thousand miles on it every year

Last Friday afternoon I was driving home in my 2014 Chevy Impala when I pulled up to a stop light and on my left was a nice 1968 Impala custom coupe.  Pretty cool!

I've had my pool cover open for two weeks and so far I've found drowned four squirrels and chipmunks floating.  So I surmise that they do not swim well.

Yesterday the HotRod power tour left Beech Bend ky, and drove through my little town on the way to their next destination. We stood and watched nearly 100 yrs worth of automotive history for 3 1/2 hours drive by. It was awesome.

On my way home from a round of golf and almost dropped a deuce when I saw this winged warrior just casually sitting in a parking lot along the road.

Today I seen a 64 Fargo truck (that I’m going to try to buy) and a 67 dodge truck (that I want to try buying) both of the trucks were sitting in felds.

Went to the Wednesday night Cruise-In at the Gilmore Car Museum last night. I saw (among lots of others) an Edsel and a Morgan 3 wheeler.

I stopped and looked at this old land yacht that is for sale. He wants $500 for it and it’s got a running and driving 383 with 727 trans, 8-3/4 rear end and factory hub caps in the trunk. Unfortunately it doesn’t have cop shocks.

You might want to grab this just incase your 440 car doesn't work out. At least this is running and driving and could be used for a future project. At that price i'd buy it just to have it for parts alone.

yesterday I stopped and looked at this early 60s sweptline Fargo.ED03C788-948F-4A4A-B3AA-C93EC118AC0F.thumb.jpeg.4d1096a80d34e7d32ab992344faca873.jpeg7B4715B9-D61A-40DD-B1DC-C4F122326E76.thumb.jpeg.4863988ae2362b28315ec087390efbdc.jpeg

and next week I’m going to go looking through a feld of trucks and cars and there is suppose to be at least one sweptline there. (In case it isn’t obvious I like old sweptline dodge/Fargo trucks)

During my bike ride today, not on the road but in my cousin's driveway. I'm going to have to see her about a ride.

I would prefer the impact colors like Sublime green but this is interesting.

Now that could be "Dipped" or "Wrapped", which you can peal off and change the color of the car without having to drop big coin on a repaint.
