On November 29th, I signed up for Hulu on a special offer of $2 a month for 12 months, specifically to re-watch all episodes of Justified and NYPD Blue. Was delighted to discover they also have Modern Family, Firefly, and a few other cool things, too.

Justified ran six seasons, a total of 78 episodes. Thoroughly enjoyed re-living seasons 1 through 4, Very Most Way Excellent Stuff. Seasons 5 and 6 were new to me--dunno how I missed those when they were aired new (on FX). Anyway, last night I reached the last of the 78 episodes, meaning I watched 2.6 episodes a day. Not too shabby. B)

Now I'm gonna watch a few select episodes of Firefly and then move on to NYPD Blue. Oh, I might slip The Last Ship in there somewhere, too. I've heard that's pretty good.

Oh, and Justified wasn't the only thing I watched in the last month. Also saw all 8 episodes of Fleishman Is in Trouble, which was REALLY good. If you haven't seen that, give it a try. B)

Binge Watched the new "Vanity Fair" series on Amazon. 7 episodes in all. Was really great. My wife and I watch a lot of 19th Costume Dramas on Streaming and really enjoy most of them.  We like most anything by Austin, Trollope, Thackeray, Dickens, ect.

It is great having the time to watch these shows.

Hiking is the answer. Who cares what the question is? | Outdoor quotes ...

Justified ranks in my Top 3 of favorite shows. I've re-watched it many times. I'm looking forward to Justified: City Primeval coming sometime in 2023.

I think it ranks there in my list, too, along with Firefly and Game of Thrones.  Dimmit, I'm gonna need a Top 5 list to include Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

First I need to give a big thank you to Bill (Ace-Garageguy). He had used a photograph of Hedy Lamarr in one of his posts. I didn't know who she was at the time. Once I was told I found her to be more than a great actress. She was an incredible lady. I ordered these. They arrived today. The DVD with Edward G has 4 movies. I'm not a musical fan but I figure she should have some nice costumes. Extase was one of her first films before she came to the US. Her last movie was in 1958. I was 3. Since this is a 3 day weekend for me I may be doing some binge watching myself.

Yeah, she's definitely one in a few billion, that's for sure.

Back in about 2011, I found an old autographed black-and-white photo of her in a silver frame, in a junk shop in Chloride, Az.

Some friends had two extra tickets to a Burton Cummings concert on New Years eve. It was his 75th birthday also and he put on a GREAT show! He was born and raised here in Winnipeg and now has the beautiful old Walker Theatre renamed after him.

I came across this...

"The older you grow, and the more you see, the less reason you find for ...

...which is another way of saying that the more you learn, the more you DO know, the more you realize you don't know squat.
