They also took out all four wisdom teeth and one molar at the same time. Fast forward to today and I now have the straightest teeth around and chiseled features. But that summer 2023 was quite the ordeal. 2
John M. Posted February 15 Posted February 15 (edited) Normally I do some house cleaning on the weekends but I'll put all that on hold until next week. With the school kids out then, I have all the time in the world. Meanwhile, I'm binge watching the Dirty Harry movies online with a mug of hot chocolate. Edited February 15 by John M.
89AKurt Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Saw this car for sale several months ago, via a contact on Fakebook (not Marketplace). He posted yesterday that a buyer flaked out, so he put it up again. Just made the deal with the widow of my contact's friend. Yes it's a fake, but it will go with my dad's fake Rolex. 😅 7

Dave Ambrose Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I may have bought a telescope today. It will be for my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. Need to replace the finder scope and go through the optics to make sure they're in good order before I give it to them. 4
JollySipper Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Got some good news regarding my wrist! They don't see where I'll need surgery....... Last time I went they were saying a 50/50 chance that I would. So, in another four weeks they'll remove the cast and set me up with a splint....... 7
slusher Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Beautiful sunny Monday after all the hard rain we have but snow is Comming…
Old Buckaroo Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Minus forty one this morning and my wife's car started! Seat felt like a oak plank when I got in. 5
rattle can man Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Don't tell my partner I'm pleased, but a house my significant other really liked at an online real estate site sold a day after she found it. I liked the house, but it didn't offer much for me to do. no space for model building. no space for a garden. no space for tinkering on 1:1 cars. And in small beach town where fishing/ seafood is the main industry. Absolutely nothing for me to do aside from sit around. 2 1
mk11 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 It's warming up finally. The worst cold has slid past now (look out Nebraska/Iowa) and we may see 35-40 degrees over the weekend 5

A modeler named mike Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Today my brother had two doctors appointments. First one was concerning his prostate results, more detailed than the phone call he received earlier last week. The MRI he had on the 10th showed two spots on the outside of the capsule and were both 3.6 on a 1 to 5 scale, not a 5 as he thought he was told. He will need a biopsy to determine if they are malignant or benign. He was also told that more than likely if it's malignant they'll use radiation to treat it. The next appointment was with the cardiovascular vascular thoracic specialist/surgeon. She confirmed that his right carotid artery definitely has a total occlusion which nothing can be done, but not to worry the body has a way to compensate by suppling blood though veins and capillaries to make up for the blockage. He was also told that his left carotid artery was NOT 15% blocked and was fine. The 15% was a misunderstanding on my brothers part. He has to go back in two years to test again to see if there's any change. So needless to say he's on a high note and I'm more than pleased. Tomorrow is another day and yet another doctors appointment. This appointment is a consultation with a Gastroenterologist to start the process of checking the thyroid since dad had thyroid problems. 3
rattle can man Posted February 20 Posted February 20 nearly 60 next week! but -14 tonight, before any wind chill.

Good to hear that you both got some answers to what's going on, and a bit of good news. Awesome to hear. Good luck at the Gastro. Appointment, hopefully more good news is on the way. 1 1

The previous blood work showed no signs of a thyroid problem. But it looks like someone is overdue for everyone's favorite, the colonoscopy..🫣 3
