Twokidsnosleep Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I have enough kits in my stash to last another lifetime, but still I want MORE! What is on your list to get this year??
Miatatom Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I've giot more than I can build too but I'd like to add the following to the stash/project list. Jag XKEs Williams FW16 McLaren MP 4/5 or 4/6 Shelby GT350R Lotus 49 Lotus 49B Ferrari 312B Lotus Type 72C Lotus Type 49B Tyrrell 003
Twokidsnosleep Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 That is a list of very cool cars Tom, are there kits for them?? I had been on a retro kick of late with slight influence from Ralph Lauren's collection of icons So just got an Airfix Bentley 1/12 Now I am after a Ford GT40 in lager scale....want to make it in the Gulf livery. Maybe the Trumpeter kit .....and I need an extra day added to the week just for modelling with no disturbances
Erik Smith Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Honestly, nothing. If I feel like getting something, great. But, like you, I have enough kits to last until I am dead.
High octane Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 NONE, however that doesn't mean that I won't buy any unfortunately.
Twokidsnosleep Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 It is always dangerous reading builds and seeing what others are making...suddenly a new project is born Another tendency I have is to re-make kits I did as a kid I made the Ertl Rubber Duck Mac Truck...remember that movie? Those kits are selling real high on eBay right now
timc Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Well one of everything that Moebius is putting out, cars and pickups that is. Also maybe the revel 1968 Volkswagen, just because of the way it goes together.
Tom Geiger Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm like the guy on the seafood diet. I see models, I buy them! As with many here, I'm blessed with having many more models than I deserve. It's like sensory overload that I have all this great building stock and it's hard to sit down and concentrate on one model as many more ideas are swimming in my head! I will no doubt buy the new Moebius kits, especially a few of the different versions of the Ford pickup. I want to get the Ebbro Renault versions, yea I'll be needing on of each of the three versions. Aside from that, I will be doing my old "reach for wallet, think later" approach to attending model shows and club meetings.
webestang Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Only kit I would like to get this year is a VW Beetle kit. I'd like to do a replica of my first car.
Can-Con Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Love to find a '69 Bonneville re-builder relatively cheap.
AC Norton Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 any vintage, exciting kit of Round 2 that's on the horizon. drag and muscle, 60s 70s era...I'm in.....the ace....
disabled modeler Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Id be happy to just find/afford the parts I need for my dads old stuff so they can get restored...there are some Id like to find again but that will probably have to wait for some time by the looks of things.
kelson Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm in for the Moebius Ford pickups, and 3-4 of their cars, also the new revell Corvettes and Mustang, the Golf Gti and convertible and finally the Ford Raptor if it ever get's released.
Ramfins59 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm looking forward to the Moebius '54 Hudson, and then I hope to get some 1956 resin kits from Modelhaus at this year's NNL East show... '56 Cadillac, Dodge, Lincoln and Mercury which should just about complete my collection of cars for 1956. After that I'll have to see how finances go for the rest of the year. I think I've still got enough cars in the TO DO pile to get me through the year.

Tony_B Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 The new AMT "Heavy Chevy" looks like something I'll be picking up.....
iangilly Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Dodge chargers.Already hve to many, but need more.
Craig Irwin Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Plenty of unbuilts waiting, only planning on buying the Revell 57 Ford wagon and the 1910 model T turing car.
W-409 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I know I shouldn't buy any new kits as I already have them so much that it will take me at least a decade to build them all. But each year I buy lots of models... Actually only ones I'm planning to buy in 2015 is everything that Moebius Models is making. Hopefully I can find a Jo-Han or two as well.
martinfan5 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Any and every kit that I may find that I want , probably most of the new tooled kits from Aoshima, Fujmi, Tamiya, a few Revell AG, few from Revell US, Heller, Bellkits,Beemax, and list goes on.
Bennyg Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Anything with MACK on the front of it. Also the Revell Porsch 918. Ben
o-man Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Moebius 56 Chrysler 300. Revell 2015 Mustang and Corvette. Maybe Aoshima BRZ/FT86 w/engine. Get rid of the model funk I'm in
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 The only ones I'm looking for any time in the future are old annuals; AMT 1960 Ford pickup AMT 1967 Ford Galaxie Johan 1965/66 Plymouth Fury MPC 1967 Pontiac Bonneville That's about it, other than the new Mobius kits when they start coming out. Other wise, I have more than enough to keep me busy for a couple of years. Steve
