roadhawg Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 With the Annual 24 hour build coming up next week, I figured it was time to finish my build from last year....well, actually, I got stuck out of town last year and never started, but if I had, this was going to be my project. Monogram '64 GTO built Pro-Touring style. LS1 engine from a Corvette kit, Pegasus wheels/tires, Duplicolor Royal Blue paint. All scripts and badging are decals. Fairly simple build....but it DID take longer than 24 hours....WAY longer, lol. Thanks for looking.
karbuildr Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Great build, very cool interpretation of a classic car. That Royal Blue with Tan interior looks perfect.
slusher Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Man, that is one amazing model. Did you use Corvette Transmission also???
roadhawg Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Thanks again, everyone! Man, that is one amazing model. Did you use Corvette Transmission also??? No, I used a GM 6 speed from Bandit Resins.
o-man Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Sweet looking GTO. Great color, wheels, and stance.
Nacho Z Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Holy smokes!!! Beautiful work, Tommy. Big fan!
prostreeter69 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 That is one sweet goat!!!! Love the color. Jon
YBlock292 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Very nice build! I built a 64 GTO last year and used the stock wheels, but Your car looks great with those modern wheels. Pretty cool also how nice that Corvette Motor fits under the hood of the "goat".
Geno Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Stunning, what's not to love, it's a Pontiac and a GTO to boot.
Guest Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Nice looking GTO Tommy! I can't even imagine attempting to build a model in 24 hours! You did the best thing by letting it take as long as it needed. Nice work!
