Scale-Master Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 After over two years it is finished. 100% scratch-built from raw materials. I'll share some detail photos later after I get a chance to shoot them. WIP Thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68368&page=1
cobraman Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 So nice to see this one finished although it sure was great to follow along with the build. It is beautiful. You can be very proud of this model.
Pizzwizz24 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Fantastic build. The dash cluster looks amazingly realistic. So much depth in all the gauges and the steering wheel too. Love the exhaust also. Missed your WIP so I'll have to catch up on all the goodies. I'm sure I'll learn a few tricks. Great work! Chris
Foxer Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I'm going to miss tuning in on this build .. simply MAGNIFICENT!
MonoPed Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 It is a spectacular build! Going be kinda weird to not see anymore updates on this project. Gotta wonder what your next creation will be
Jantrix Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) I know this is a terribly overused word, but it's original definition truly fits. awesome [aw-suh m] adjective 1. causing or inducing awe; inspiring an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, or fear: an awesome sight. W-409 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Fantastic work as always! It's a shame that the WIP was moved into Big Boys, so I will have to catch up your latest updates from there. This makes me speechless, it's so nicely done.

Earl Marischal Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Scale-Master, This is an absolutely incredible piece miniature model engineering but, as you said in your WIP thread, as a bit of a purist, I do prefer the original shape... Sill staggering stuff though! steve
Pete J. Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Mark, superb build. I am going to miss watching this one. I am excited to see what is next!
Tony-442 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Wow... Your sense of acomplishment must feel amazing! Great Job! I feel so incredibly privileged to have been able to follow the step-by-step process, and to read along, hear about your struggles, suggestions and ideas. I feel as though we were all a small part of this build. Thank you so much for sharing this project. You've been a great inspiration to me, and I'm happy to say, I've learned a lot from you. I truly look forward to your next build. I'll gladly follow along for another 2 years. Cheers!

wrecker388 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Does it run? That is truly insane detailing. I think we need a bowing emoticon added to the forum for builds like this . Great job.
