  5. Outstanding Roadrunner.!
  6. Fantastic looking Mopar!
  7. David, Might be worth your while looking at lighting units from the model railway hobby. There are modular systems that could possibly be adapted for your project. https://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/JustPlugLightingSystem?srsltid=AfmBOoqvhCFBGfX3HDqt1f2m4CY5Siq3IOJUVBQU3QQSaIpUo7XaVUji steve
  8. Very nice Michelle!
  9. Absolutely beautiful build, very impressive!
  10. Is this the scary part? must have been learning about show paint but got white mixed up with black? sounds like learning from the old man so theft! stolen clearly from Scale Model Techniques fundamental Friday! theft! Matt you published Surface preparation took considerable time. Even though the molding is excellent, achieving a show-quality finish requires progressive sanding with 600, 800, and 1200-grit papers, followed by polishing compound. This is especially critical when using light colors like the Championship White, as any imperfections will be glaringly obvious under the final clear coat. Critical Point: Don't rush the body preparation. The NSX's clean, simple lines mean there's nowhere to hide imperfections.
  11. I bought a sheet recently and found it to be absolutely useless. I wish I could get my $8.00 back. I use only the chrome and it can be painted with acrylics before applying. I’ve sprayed and brushed sections of a chrome sheet with both semi gloss black and rubber black. Works great.
  12. I could probably find a new home for a few of those parts. Now how about some images of the one sitting next to it.

  14. Go for it! Stick it under anything it’ll fit. The ‘69 Torino is one kit that really needs a better chassis.
  15. An interesting view yes...show someone who knows nothing and they like them!....now cars Italian with an American V8 all the rage here... junk to them a few years ago not 100% Italian..the Pantera a good example....the same people poo poo a Mustang BOSS 351....i will take the Mustang any day..... we both know the Avanti a great car!
  16. I'm curious to see how long the hype can last before the cracks start to show. I'm pretty cheesed that AI is beginning to devalue/erode a bunch of realms that humans should have a fair opportunity to build a career in (like art, voice acting, coding, etc etc), whilst leaving us with all the same large-scale problems we had before (cancer, wars, feeding the growing world population, etc etc). There's something eerily parasitic about AI, IMHO that's part of why so many people feel like the technology is phenomenal but unsettling. Anyway, I need the hype to balloon 10x so I can cash in my investments and retire, lol.
  17. Awwwwww yissssssss This is wicked awesome. Wide fat lopro tires, sinister stance, all designed from the ground-up to be a modern killing machine. Will be getting this Pro Touring version, and a K-Code for an African Safari Rally version, too. May the best Merc win.
  18. This is flowing so well! Man that's a lot of chopping...one of the choices that surprised me was how you pinched the tail across the middle of the rear wheel arches, but it looks great that way.
  19. Looking good!! That chrome is pretty convincing.
  20. This is a neat little build! Nice detailing, must be difficult working that small. I'm sure Dale would appreciate what you've done with it! The proportions of the cab have me brainstorming ideas, hmm...
  21. Trying to weather the underside of my AMT '68 Camaro Z/28. Have never tried this technique before. Usually I just paint it Flat Black and away we go. However we shall see with this effort if I got away with it.
  22. No sir, it's a project I need to pick back up on and get done though.
  23. I have most of my collection (about 300 kits) from ebay. I had minor issues with what came but never lost money. I do not sell on ebay, (I don't need the money). PayPal since day one. Isolates you CC info from sellers.
  24. Cool project. Does the balsa come with that pronounced grain on it?
  25. The cab seams are a pain. I used superglue as a filler and sanded with 1/8" wide sanding sticks. I still lost a few rivets. After you finish this truck, you'll be able to build any of them.
