StevenGuthmiller
Beautiful!! Can't wait for this one to come out!! Somehow, I was under the impression that this kit was going to be the hardtop version rather than the coupe. Maybe that one's coming next? unclescott58
Mr. Guthmiller, thought this was going to a hardtop? Known as a Hollywood hardtop in Hudson terminology. I was under the impression this going to be a long roof 2-door club sedan, rather than a short roof 2-door club coupe. Though I do like the club coupe better than the club sedan. I knew it was not going to a Hollywood, but I wish it was. In '54 the Hollywood looked better with the minor redesign bodies, than the club coupe. In '53 it was the other way around. Scott you're part right...it's the coupe (stock)pictured above and the long roof club sedan(with parts for a drag racer)... no mention of any hardtop yet.. John Goschke
Looks great! It's a testament to how far ahead of its time was the '48 Hudson that with a relatively mild restyle the same basic design could look so contemporary in 1954. sjordan2
For an average to experienced builder, I think it's great. But I don't think this is up to your usual standard, based on your always superb work in the past. Some rough-looking, rippled foil work, and a bit of orange peel on the black paint. I get the feeling this may have been rushed a bit. Edited August 23, 2014 by sjordan2
