Harry P.
I am seriously considering trading in my '07 for the latest version. What a beauty!
Austin T
I think it's funny how the acceptance of the new Mustang has finally started to set it. When it was first shown I remember guys in droves saying it was ugly as sin,but now everyone likes it as passionately as they used to hate it. I personally like the new styling and do plan on picking up the Revell snaptite kit soon when it hits shelves (Got the revellations news letter that mentioned it's coming soon.) I don't have any pictures of it right now but Bob Downie's build of the kit is spectacular, it looks great beside his '13 Boss. Ace-Garageguy
These are the first final-final-really-really-what-it will-look-like photos I've seen (I don't follow the new cars all that much anymore), and there are still a few details I think could have been a little cleaner and better integrated (like the driving light / parking light coves for one, and the rear under-bumper splitter, and the tag area...and I could do without the crease through the gas door on the quarter panel). However, I think overall it's a taught, well-proportioned and coherent design, it has enough Mustang-ness so its heritage is obvious, and I bet it looks even better up close, in the tin. I see why you want one.
cobraman
Front reminds me of a Fusion. Not saying I don't like it because I do.
Peter Lombardo
I saw the car(s) in person and they look far better then the photo's in real life.......it is a real winner.......I am considering one myself.
peter31a
I don't dislike this as much as the ugly new Corvette but it's still not as nice as the current version. This doesn't quite as much look like it was designed by a committee that couldn't agree on anything like the new Corvette. Take the ponies off and it could be the new RX7 or something. Has lost some of it's visual appeal. If I could I would take a 2012-2014 over this. But there again opinions are like everyone has one... charlie8575
Not into the headlights. The rest of the car, however, isn't too bad looking. Money/justification presents itself, yeah, I'd at least consider a GT convertible. Charlie Larkin
Austin T
Take the ponies off and it could be the new RX7 or something. Have you seen an RX-7 before? I don't see any resemblance other than the fact that they have four wheels and a windshield.
Joe Handley
I know the feeling Harry, when my Sister was looking for her Challenger Riverfront had an all black inside and out, V-6/9-Speed/AWD 2015 200S on the lot and all I could think was I wish I could afford to bring it home and park it next to my 2012 200 Touring and XJ......not like we have the room for that too though. Harry P.
...and I could do without the crease through the gas door on the quarter panel). I agree. I see what they were doing, but I would have let the crease end at the rear of the doors.
Cato
C'mon Harry, Step up to the plate and get what the 'Stang guys (poorly) cribbed from the Jag guys: http://www.jaguarusa.com/all-models/f-type/gallery.html?nojs=false&prevPage=http://www.jaguarusa.com/all-models/f-type/overview/index.html The 'Stang looks like the first coupla sketches the Jag guy tried. Then they made it wider, lower and integrated everything much better. And threw those sketches away. Mustang has different proportions to Jag and looks like a slightly lumpy librarian in comparison. I saw an XK on the street and the lines just invite your eye with no interruption-stunning.

Dave Van
My son and I saw the real thing at the Mustang 50th show at Charlotte Motor Speedway in April. Both the 14 and 15 Mustangs are tough! Danny Lectro
Personally, I don't like the roof line, but I can't put my finger on why. Also, like Charlie Larkin, I don't care for the headlights. Somehow, they don't flow with the front grill. I think the rest of it looks pretty good, though. I especially like the tail, the diffuser actually seems to fit in pretty well. peter31a
Oh for pity's sake! I was just using the term RX7 as a meaning that it looked more generic like a Japanese/Euro car. I could have said 350Z or what have you. It doesn't have the presence of the current car.
jaymcminn
I love the 2015 Mustang. It's elegant and clean and is an obvious step in the evolution from the "retro" 04-14 cars. The variety of powertrains and independent rear suspension really make it much more of a world-class car than the outgoing model. I'd still probably take a Challenger, however... And also it's kinda awkward to classify euro and Japanese styling together , similar to saying the same about the musical styling of The Beatles and Nirvana. Both countries have distinctive styles that are reoccurring and easily recognizable but fairly different from one another. In the Mustang I see the roots of what it was derived from fairly clearly with a little bit of the Jag styling that Cato mentioned earlier. The F-Type Coupe is a two-seater while the Mustang, Camaro, et al are four-seaters....big difference in terms of design and capability.. and proportions required to make room for those in the second row. I also like the F-Type Coupe but the Mustang should be compared to 2+2's out there....not two seaters, while the F-Type should be compared to other two seaters like the Corvette, Aston Vantage, et al. As for the XK, I absolutely loved the coupe version of the first generation XK8/XKR ( which is a 2+2), but the current generation (2006-2014)of that product just doesn't do it for me for some reason. Personal taste, i guess.....TB ... PS - when you see a '15 Mustang on the road, bet you change your mind.....! 1930fordpickup
My neighbor works for a company that did a lot of work on these . He kept telling me , you are going to love this car . Get ready to trade in your old 2002 GT. LOL I think they are sharp cars.
Aaronw
I think it would look better with round headlights, this shows an obvious connection to the Fusion. Not a bad looking car, but it would have a more distinct retro Mustang look with round headlights.
