I'd rather pick from cars I've owned, but that is hard too ... so I'll choose two that I owned ... I had a 1967 Triumph TR4A when I exited the Army. It was exhilarating when the SU Carbs didn't need to be synced. Then, after 4 previous 944's, the last Porsche 944, a 1991 was the best. It had the 3-liter four destined for the 968. Gobs of torque from those coffee can pistons. Still, my 2016 GTI is faster, but nowhere near the suspension on the Porsche. I thought he said that the car was something like $5-6K off the lot, and he couldn't afford it as that's how much he made in an entire year. Throw in the fact that Mom was expecting me at the time, and there's no way he could afford something like this! Dad was a diehard Chrysler man though, and he ended up settling for a very nice '57 Belvedere a few years later to replace his now tired '55 Plymouth Savoy. I've always like these, and it's too bad that they've been overshadowed by their '68-'70 brethren. Like the Charger the overall shape and look of this car just pleases me. It screams "muscle car" more than just anout any other car of the era. She traded it in 1961.I wish I would have been old enough to have taken it off Her hands. Her car was the same color as this one & had the continental kit. The one shown isa 440 car I am interested in color combinations and options in this body style. I MIGHT consider either a 66 Satellite , or maybe a 67 belvedere if the colors and options are there . But REALLY would prefer a 67 GTX 440 auto. I've owned only one ( 02.Feb.1992 - 12.Sept.1992 ) , and I still miss it to this day . It was TB3 Basin Street Blue , black interior , power disc brakes , power steering , factory-upgrade 727 trans , A/C , etc. , etc. I bought it for 70$ ! Everything worked in that car ; ice cold A/C ; blast furnace heater ; factory AM/FM radio ( I replaced a junk aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette that was in the car when I bought it ) . But , I digress ...
