Matra 670 ('72 Le Mans Winner by Fisher)

Just finished my last unbuilt Fisher resin.  I love the Matra and after hearing 2 Matra 670C's flat out at Phillip Island a few years back I was glad I had one to build.  The blue, green and white is all auto acrylic and the wing is bare metal foil.  Great build but had a couple of problems as I had failed to completely remove the release agent and the paint on the rear deck bubbled after the clear coat so I had to strip that area and repaint it!!   Added a few minor details but otherwise as per the kit

Any it looks OK with my other Le Mans cars.  Tks for looking

A beautiful build of a beautiful race car. Your paint and decal work are exceptional! I'm curious regarding what appears to be Chrysler pentastars on the rear wing; did Chrysler have a racing connection to Matra/Simca?

I thought Chrysler bought into Simca at one time.

Chrysler France (1967 - 1979) was a daughter of Chrysler US and took over Simca in 1971 ==> Chrysler-Simca.

In 1967 they acquiredalready  the Rootes Group (Sunbeam, Hillman, Humber, Singer etc.) in England.
