Plowboy
Finished this one up today. Basically a kitbash with a Revell '48 F-1 and convertible. I used the pickup's chassis, engine block with an automatic from an old Revell Ranchero, bed, roof, rear cab wall, floor pan, dash and door panels. The convertible supplied the front clip, bottom section of the doors, rear fenders, engine accessories, wheels, hubcaps, tires and seat. Paint is Tamiya Gray Green with a coat of pearl and clear. Thanx for checking it out! Any questions, just ask.

espo
Like so many others this was a very informative build to follow. The exterior finish looks perfect, the stance is just right, and I still wonder why Ford didn't build it this way in the first place. Not seen here but the chassis is just as nice as the body. I also like the way you built the Flathead engine.
Matt T.
Beautiful build! A proper phantom too - Looks like it came from the factory that way, and causes a double-take. I love the color choices. Edited April 3, 2020 by Matt T.

TarheelRick
That is such a sweet pickup. The body changes are subtle, but then also in your face. If it were at a 1:1 car show people would walk by and say, "Very nice restoration...Wait! Ford didn't build one like that, what is it?" Very masterfully done conversion.
