My son recently finished this '57 Christine Fury. He wanted to do his own thing with it, so he painted it blue and added the continental kit from my spares tin that came with the '62 Buick Electra I recently built but never used. He did have a hard time with the suspension, parts got broken and repaired with copious amounts of glue! so I came to the rescue there, but what you see is basically all his doing.

Cheers, guys. He seems to have caught the kit building bug, maybe he can create his own account here then instead of me posting for him, but it's still early days. He might just have these kits in him and give it up, like I did at his age, but we'll see.

Beautiful looking build of a subject not seen much anymore. Would seem that he has picked up on your style of building, very clean looking example here.

He did say when he opened the box, "wow, that's a lot of parts" Lol, A lot of the chrome has been touched up with Molotow pen due to glue fingers. On top of the suspension parts breaking, one of the headlight lenses had to be replaced as it melted when he used cement instead of canopy glue Lol, and the wheels are locked solid but he's not fazed at all. Certainly more patients than I have, it would have ended up in the bin if I had those issues! xD

Super clean. He is a natural. Imagine his skills 10 years from now. The new generation

It'll be something to see if he keeps at it for sure.

Yes, It does look good! I didn't even suggest it, he just had a nose through my spares tin and wanted to put it on. What he wants to do next is his own custom using parts from my spares tin. He wants to create, is the vibe I got from him, haha! I recommended he build a few more basic kits first, but if he wants to jump straight into the deep end then I wont stop him.
