Mark, Pepper looks like she is a card, I bet she is loads of fun. BTW, is that her in your Lincoln forum?

Thanks Jerry, everyone in the house says she's turning into my dog instead of my daughters dog. She's loads of fun and lots of company, even when you don't want any. She loves to talk, not bark but make sounds like she's telling you all about something. That's her in my Lincoln thread yelling at me to "stop playing with that stupid model & play with me!" At least that's what I hear.

Those 2 dogs look like they have a wonderful life thanks to you and/or whomever rescued them.

Mark, your "talking" dog reminds me of one of our Westies. He barks when he's real excited but most of the time it's funny sounds that resemble a cow or cat or whatever when he wants food or to go out. If he wasn't already named when we got him he would be called Mr. Bean which I still call him sometimes because he reminds me of that character.

Hi all,  great idea for a topic Jerry! Love all the stories and beautiful dogs, they truly are part of the family.

Allow me to introduce Otis, our 10 year old Miniature Schnauzer.

He has a good gig. Since he was a pup he has gone to work with my wife who manages two seniors facilities. Otis seemed to instinctively know to be gentle with the older folks, although he still has a playful side.

Often seen sleeping with one of his toys as a pillow…

At my side in the hobby room… (he loves those rainy wet winter days that we hunker down for the day)

Christmas with the seniors…(torture)

Poker night with his auntie…

My wife broke her foot badly at the beginning of 2020 (3 plates and 12 screws!!), Dr. Otis kept a very watchful eye on her for several months as she recovered. He stayed very close…

Sorry for all the  pics, but as you can tell, I love my dog! Thank you all for sharing your dogs, they’re all beautiful.

Cheers, Steve

That's the coolest thing ever, man...... You know those older folks light up when they see him......

Hi TJ, yes, the seniors love him. One of the staff regularly comes and takes him to visit with the residents in their rooms. Oh… the staff all love him too, he gives and gets lots of love.

Cheers, Steve

Serious poker face.......I would fold!

I know right!! I wouldn’t bet against him. Every time I see that photo it makes me smile. My wife and I were away for the weekend, so her sister dog-sat for us. When she sent us that photo I laughed my butt off.

Cheers

The pic of the little pup in the outfit is very cute John !

On Feb. 5 Diesel participated  in his first agility trial. He had 2 runs and did quite well considering it was his fist time and he was in a new building with new equipment .  He took it all in stide and had a great time as well! Here is a picture of him exiting a tunnel. Man,he's fast. I'm going to have to get in better shape!

I hope you like it.

Just came home last night.

20220215_170837.thumb.jpg.44eddd6427cf2e8f3a856632cbbcec28.jpg

He's had a bit of a tumultuous start...first family left him alone all day for the first 3 weeks they had him. They gave him to the girl who breed his mother to rehome, so he's got a few behavioral issues to sort out, jumping on the couch etc, but nothing to serious and a bit of anxiety if left alone. Fortunately the couch thing is solved already and he's learning he's safe in his new house.

Anyways, day one at his new home was a success and he even meet a new friend today, a good friend of the family has a border/blue heeler for him to play with. So after his first play date he's whipped.

Very handsome! He’s got beautiful “human” looking eyes. Great to see he’s got a nice home and a new friend. A tired dog is a happy dog!

I had the pleasure of working with our Sugar Monday. Diesel ,our other dog was at a seminar with my wife whom usually works with Sugar so I stepped in to take her place. Sugar was amazing! She read all my ques and had lots of fun doing so.I really enjoyed playing with her. Here is a pic of Sugar in a competition a while ago.
