Paul Payne Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 I would send that photo to Revell and request a replacement for every tree like that. It's awful!
Plowboy Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 What kit is that from? That is flash like I've never seen before.

Zippi Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 That looks awful. They lost money on all the extra plastic.
JohnU Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Well, better over shot than under shot! Parts should be fine but, you got a little trimming to do there!
TarheelRick Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Reminds me of my Flower Power Revell Beetle, another of the '70s fiascoes.

That is a bit excessive but the parts are fine. I wouldn't have even thought twice about a tree like that. Trimming flash and mold seams has been a part of building plastic models since day one. 1
deuces wild Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Looks like the 2 mold halves didn't shut all the way before the injection process.... It happens...?

I was going to say, I have one out in my car that was a recent reissue and I don’t think it was that bad!
