damodelguy az Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 took roof off 60 panel, kitbashed on 59 convertible kit. clipped front chassis from elcomino and added to conv chassis. thanx greg meyers for tid bit about gas tanks on panel and cominos different than car.
bisc63 Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Looks cool, but you forgot to scribe gas filler door on quarter panel! (Wagons and 'Caminos filled from the driver's quarter.) Oh well, looks really nice with the upscale trim! I'm guessing by the slanted B-pillar this started with a Jimmy Flintstone resin delivery body?
AMT68 Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Very impressive work merging the two kits. Your build is extremely clean.
Misha Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Both the Chev and your T-Bird are real eye catchers Glen! Excellent planning and execution plus the final finish. Cheers Misha
espo Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Looks great on the nicer '59 body. The original delivery with the slanted B pillar I think is based on the old Monogram kit. I like the paint treatment.
Zippi Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 That looks pretty kewl. Colors look great together. Nicely done.
doorsovdoon Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Lovely looking build, and nice two tone paint combo.
