Plowboy Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 One of the best examples of this kit I've ever seen! Nice work Tom!

I'm currently working on another one these kits from the Monogram era.
ModelcarJR Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Nice looking 70 Chevelle! The Monogram kit is much nicer than the AMT kit. I'm hoping that Revell would continue on with the Chevelle line as they have recently issued the 68 and 69 Chevelles. Nice work on yours! ??
Dragonhawk1066 Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Very nice! Looks good in Bahama Blue!

I have several of these MonogramRevell reissue kits and one '70 AMT. Up to this point I haven't been sure what to do with the AMT. Now that I see the very nice mild custom work you've done with yours I very well may do something similar. 2 hours ago, Dragonhawk1066 said: Very nice! Looks good in Bahama Blue! Thanks Craig. I'm thinking of using this color on the '68 AMT Camaro I just received this week. 1
carrucha Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Good work. I like the body color. Nice to see a build up of this kit.

Pierre_tec Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Great paint job as many said, never can go wrong with a 60-70’s gm in light metallic blue. Makes want to build all of the model that I got from this era the same tone!
AMT68 Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 Thanks Pierre. There were always various shades of blue available each year in those days. And I do have an affinity for them.
Oldcarfan27 Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 That's the same paint combination that I use (Dupli-color with Rustoleum Lacquer). Glad to see it works so well for you too. Came out excellent!
bisc63 Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Beautiful, clean model with a realistic stance. Very nice job all around! One to be proud of for sure.
TooOld Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Beautiful Chevelle Tom ! And I agree it looks better with those windows rolled down !

They didn't on the '69 GTO that was issued a couple years later.
