damodelguy az Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 finally finished my version of my impala wagon. 3
espo Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Great looking wagon. What was used for the rear portion of the roof and rear window?
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 ? I really like 2dr wagons and this a nice example!
Zippi Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Nice looking 61 wagon. Love the supercharged 409.
bisc63 Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Is that a 60 Ford wagon roof at the rear? Nice job; love the bold color choice. What paint/color is that yellow?
matthijsgrit Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Great build!! Nice choice of color and the rear was done very nicely. Reminds me of a 1:1 white showcar (if I remember correctly). I would remove the hood scoop however; seems out of place on this fantastic wagon.
happy grumpy Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Nice conversion , the yellow really makes it pop. Thanks to the resin caster for giving us options.
rightrudder Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Very clean! Love the 'tude, stance and colors.
damodelguy az Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 the color was chrome yellow, clear stock back window, and its my resin casting i offer on ebay sometimes. glefor9 idea was probably that same wagon i seen at grand national few years back. wrestled with hood scoop, blower came through and didnt want another with carbs sticking through. thanx guys glen damodelguy
damodelguy az Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 oh, the 60 ford rear roof was narrowed also.
alan barton Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 That 60 Ford roof was such a great choice - it is so in harmony with the A pillar. very cool indeed! Cheers Alan
