gbdolfans
Hi, my wife and I have a lot of pics on our laptops. What is the best hosting site for free? Not photobucket and trying to get back on flicker. Having some trouble with login. Thanks, George
crazyjim
I went through PB and Flicker. Now I use Google Photo. It's a freebie (so far).
PowerPlant
I use Imgur on occasion.
StevenGuthmiller
Not free, but inexpensive. I like Fotki a lot. $24.00 a year. Steve

Never had any real problems, they sort issue's out with the site reasonably quick. I find it a very reliable site for storing and hosting pics for free.
89AKurt
I was on Flickr, but because I violated terms, my 12,000+ photo collection was vaporized without warning. Which destroyed my posts on the Chevy pickup forum. My Route 66 album was awesome. I haven't found a site that compares to that one, so will watch this thread. Just gotta take your chances. I think we all learned that with the PB disaster. Nothing is certain. Steve
Ace-Garageguy
A little food for thought: when you get something for free, it's usually worth exactly what you paid for it.
Bills72sj
I would think a spare or leftover hard drive or thumbdrive would be bit more reliable that some unknown entities server. Especially since said hard drive won't raise its prices or have rules to violate. Unless of course you need 24/7 internet access to the pics. peteski
Good advice. I never only upload photos to some Internet repository. I always keep a copy on local hard drive, and also a backup of the hard drive on a different device.
