Very nicely done. It looks like it came from the factory as a production vehicle. Your modeling skills are superb.

Thank you very much Jeff !

Outstanding work!

You're accumulating quite a collection, adding this to the El Caminos you've already done.

Can't wait to see the '79 when you get going on it.

Thanks much Robert ! Along with the El Caminos I also did a 72 Ranchero years ago but it needs rebuilding , it's also on my To Do list along with the '79 Ranchero .

OMG - I never would have guessed that so much work went into this Phantom (?) Ranchero - it looks like fresh from the factory.

Excellent result, Bob - this one has definitely showroom quality!

Absolutely beautiful piece of work, museum worthy!  Your fabrication skills are top notch,  can't wait to see the 79!

Thank you very much Tony !  I've got everything I need for the '79 and will probably start it before the end of the year .

Bob, that is one fine looking build! I love everything about it, color, stripes, the fine detailing, it's just great! Thanks for showing it.

I think this is the first time I've checked this truck section as I just posted a model on it. I'll have to keep watching  -Rich

That looks amazing!.  I saw somewhere on a different site where someone did a 1970.  I've never been a fan of the Ranchero, but that car looked pretty cool.

Thanks Eric !  I've seen a '70 done too , that gave me the idea for doing this one .

That is some beautiful scratch building.   It's hard to believe they never kitted these up and also the 70 Ranchero.

Thanks Doug !  I guess the manufacturers at the time thought the El Camino was a better seller .

Are you sure you didn't sneak in some pictures of a real 1:1 Ranchero. Have always been a big fan of the Ranchero.  Your build is beyond amazing. The detail around the taillight area is mind-blowing. In case you haven't realized, I really like this build.

Nice looking Ranchero Bob! The color suits it perfect! My older brother had a '69 Torino GT in the same scheme. I've always wanted to do a replica for him. But, the GT is very pricey.

Thank you very much Rick !  I really didn't know how I was going to make the taillights . They ended up being fairly easy with some plastic strip for the housings and decals for the lenses , even the black inlay on the housings was done with decals .
