I built this from the Fujimi kit that I didn't know existed until my sister and brother in law found it at a thrift shop. The kit didn't come with a license plate and the rear of the car is never shown in the movie, so I grabbed a California plate from my parts box. Everything else came in the kit.

Brand of kit?  I never saw it before.  Headlights look great, were they chrome reflectors?  You did a smashing job on it.

I owned 2 MINI Coopers, attended 2 Mini Meets, they showed the original version of Italian Job.

Thanks. It's a Fujimi kit. Yes the headlights are chrome with separate clear lenses.

Nicely done, that looks great!  Fujimi released four kits in their Italian Job series - this one, and the three new Minis.

Thanks! When my sister picked this one up they also had one of the new ones (the blue one) so they grabbed it too. I just need the other 2 and I'll have the whole set.

Funny, that was the one I was never able to find - I ended up getting two of the white ones instead.

You've done great job! I remember these when they first came out on the race tracks! My brother bought one of the first light green colour 850cc Mini Van's in 1963!

I have a Fujimi mini kit, but it’s not the Italian Job version. I never knew Fujimi did this one, or any of the others in the Italian Job series.

Your model looks great. Those MiniLite alloy wheels look just right.
